Mavric
Nebraska Darin Erstad is the right guy for the job On April 17, Michigan defeated Nebraska, 6-1, to complete a three-game sweep. The loss was Nebraska’s fifth in a row, dropping the Huskers to 22-13 on the year. After opening conference play 7-1, Nebraska was in the middle fo the Big Ten table at 7-5. With 40% of Darin Erstad’s fourth season in the books, some of those who support Big Red desired to see more. What is assumed a very small minority, there were voices on social media and throughout the internet proclaiming a change in leadership for the Nebraska baseball program was needed. Some held a belief the native son wasn’t the right person to turn the program into perennial winners and that for a second consecutive season a the Huskers were in a mid-season collapse. A 15-5 finish quieted those voices. Link Quote Link to comment
