Mavric
#10 Nebraska Huskers, Haymarket Park In 2002, the Huskers moved to Haymarket Park where they have called home ever since. The stadium has 4,500 seats and can hold an additional 4,000 in the grass berms beyond the outfield wall. The field has won numerous honors for being among the best fields in the country to play on. In 2012, a college baseball writer ranked the field as the fourth best ?big game? atmosphere in college baseball. Haymarket Park is the first collegiate venue to use a system (SubAir) that can heat and cool a field year round, a well needed feature in Lincoln. Link 3 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Have to go all the way to #39 to find the next midwestern park. 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
That is pretty cool. Most of the top 10 is well deserved, but I would have dropped Alabama from 8 in favor of iconic Disch-Falk Filed in Austin (15). Quote Link to comment
HuskerNBigD
Surprised Ole Miss didnt crack the top 10. Beer showers in right field look like one hell of a time. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
For a 14-15 year old park to still be Top 10, that's pretty awesome, or is my reference on age of stadium off? I didn't know they used the underground pipe system to control temps either. I went on a tour of Safeco Field about 6 years ago and they have the subair system too because of the combination of grass/seed they laid down. Quote Link to comment
