Sea of Red
Walk on from Grand Island, Nebraska... 23 for 37, 220 yards, 1 TD. Second start on senior day in his senior season. Hell yes. I feel great for the guy. Plus this game could be considered a significant confidence builder in case Tommy cannot go next week on the road against Iowa. 6 Quote Link to comment

grandpasknee
He had a lot of folks behind him up until Purdue last year, then he became a major league scapegoat. Glad to see him have a solid day. And yes, if he has to go next week, today did nothing but build his confidence. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Really glad to see him play well. Still not sure if he's ever enjoyed a moment of any day in his life - dude looks like he's always mildly annoyed at life. 1 Quote Link to comment

Apathy
I'm proud of this young man and to prove the majority of the fan base, myself included wrong is something that no one can ever take away from him. Loved the long run he had on 4th down, fooled everyone. I thought that they were going to throw it to Carter but nope, Fyfe goes off for a 10? yard run. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Congrats Ryker. Job well done. I was a nay sayer and you proved me wrong. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Good game from Ryker. He actually did a pretty good job going through his progressions at times. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
The couple of games he's played he had that deer in the headlights look. But kid's got an arm. Needs to work on his blocking tho. And his running. Quote Link to comment

And his running. I didn't see that today. In another thread I said he looked confident and played like it. I stand by that. And yeah, he's got an arm and I think he's easily a better passer than Tommy. But like you pointed out, he needs to work on his blocking and running skills. Quote Link to comment
