In-Home Visits

Recommended Posts

Starting Sunday (Nov. 27) through January 28th is the in-home visit period. Probably be a bunch of visits in the next two weeks before the dead period which is December 12 through January 11. There are five weekends that we could host Official Visitors - the first two weeks in December and the last three in January.

Will be interesting to see who's going where. I'll try to keep an updated list here.

Makes no sense that they allow in-homes after this week's games when there still is a game left for a lot of teams.

There you go again, thinking the rules have to make sense. ;)

Figured that Saban/Meyer/Stoops would have spoke out about this to get the rule changed by now.

Best recruiting tool is to have a game on this weekend. It is way better to be playing for a championship than it is to get an early home visit. Also, if a kid is still undecided this late in the game it would probably be better to get the last home visit, not the first.

Riley seems like he would be a very good 'in home' visitor/recruiter. He comes off as friendly, very easy going, sincere, plain spoken and honest as the day is long. Of course, that is they way the often describe the next door neighbor that turns out to be a serial killer or something! LOL

All of our coaches seem to be friendly looking but it would be important to direct each one toward the right types of players, families, etc. Some will 'fit' better than others in any given locale / environment / cultural setting.
