They would be losing their mother effing minds right now if a Democratic president did this. They'd be losing their minds even if the only thing done was the nepotism of the President appointing his own family into positions in the government. 1 Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Just a guess here, but I'm assuming they aren't going to be voting for Trump. Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Remember when Obama bowed slightly to a world leader, and Fox lost its s#!t? The body language and mouth-spewing language Donald Trump shows this novice dictator is stunning. Kim Jong-Un effusively flattered Trump and got everything he wanted. It's that simple. 2 Link to comment

TGHusker
Pence and Dick Cheney arguing over foreign policy. Cheney calling Trump's FP as to 'Obama like' wt decisions being made while on the phone or overnight without consultation. Some interesting batter going back and worth https://www.lmtonline.com/news/article/Former-vice-president-Cheney-challenges-Pence-on-13680278.php Quote Cheney also worried aloud to Pence that "we're getting into a situation when our friends and allies around the world that we depend upon are going to lack confidence in us," and then offered a blunt criticism of the current administration's response to foreign policy challenges. "I worry that the bottom line of that kind of an approach is we have an administration that looks a lot more like Barack Obama than Ronald Reagan," he said. Quote Pence also found himself responding to Cheney's questions about Trump's occasionally hostile posture toward NATO, which Cheney said "feeds this notion on the part of our allies overseas, especially in NATO, that we're not long for that continued relationship, that we're looking eagerly to find ways where somebody else will pick up the tab." The resulting impression, at least publicly, Cheney warned, is that "the decision gets made overnight or it gets made oftentimes without consulting anybody else - that he's out there doing his thing." "Well, who wrote these softball questions?" Pence joked, a nod to the unexpected - and tough - tenor of Cheney's line of query. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Ok, as Secretary of State, his answer isn’t out of line. Problem is, I don’t see any of his top five that aren’t worse since trump took office. Link to comment

TGHusker
Ok, so we are going to out source space related jobs to Brazil - how does that fit the MAGA program of bring all jobs and industries back to the USA. I understand the reasoning from an expense perspective - but how does this differ from countries moving factories to SE Asia and Mexico because labor rates are lower. Space companies want to save fuel expenses and car, shoe companies, etc want to save on labor expenses. So will Trump yell at Space X when it moves launches from Florida to Brazil Seems to be a bit inconsistent here. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/19/trump-brazil-an-ideal-launch-location-for-us-rockets.html Quote The U.S. signed an agreement that would allow American rocket companies to operate from Brazil, possibly unlocking a operations base that has sat dormant for many years, the State Department said Tuesday. a $260 billion business. That's because missions from the equator region often require less fuel. "After 20 years of talks we are finalizing a technology safeguards agreement to allow U.S. companies to conduct space launches from Brazil," President Donald Trump said Tuesday at a press conference with Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro. "Because of the location, tremendous amounts of money would be saved." Alcantara has also drawn recent interest from U.S. space companies. CNBC has reported that in December 2017, representatives for five rocket companies visited the base, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, SpaceX, Vector and Microcosm. While SpaceX did not share a continued interest in the Brazilian launchpad, and Microcosm could not be reached for comment, the other three companies were still considering the Alcantara option. "Put very simply, the flights are a lot shorter," Trump said. "Brazil's proximity to the equator makes it an ideal launch location." A launch from a latitude much farther north — such as NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida or Vandenberg Air Force Base in California — requires rockets to change direction so satellites can reach the equator. The same satellites launched from Alcantara would save as much as 20 percent to 30 percent in fuel, analysts estimate. 1 Link to comment

Danny Bateman
Apparently MegaMind wants a little bit more time to work out a peace deal with the North Koreans. This continues to be bad foreign policy. They're continuing to stockpile weapon hidden in plain sight and we're doing nothing about it. Link to comment
