The way our economy and society is run, that is a feature and not a bug. If people got the support to get out of a death spiral, a lot of people wouldn't come back for low pay and poor conditions.

How many racists hire a minority as their top employee?  How many racists advocate for advancement of all Americans regardless of color?  People think he is racist because he doesn’t pander to a certain demographic.  He doesn’t do the identity politics. 

 

Let's take the man at his own word. A few jewels from our Medal of Freedom winner, the late Rush Limbaugh (not all of them racist — he was a multi-faceted a$$h@!e:

You probably should have given someone credit for that list of jokes and shock statements from Rush that are designed to get a rise out of the lefties.  It’s Schtick, not much different than someone like Howard Stern.

Racism isn't about being an angel or a demon. You're not either 100% racist or not racist at all. A lot of psychologists will argue most humans harbor some measure of racist views.

 

Rush made made a career out of saying racist things. In the eyes of many racists, bigots and homophobes, he was a champion. Do you think he was unaware of this? And yet, he continued to say those things.. Show after show. Year after year. It was a routine element of his rhetoric.

 

That makes him more of a racist than it does not.
