The Republican Utopia

Here's an interesting thread on the baby formula shortage.  It's claiming that much of the shortage is caused by banning imports.  There's a lot of excuses for this, but in reality, it's to protect domestic producers with tariffs and regulations.

So, my question is, if Republicans are going to rant about this and claim Biden needs to deregulate and get rid of tariffs so there can be imports, how do they reconcile that with the Trump era idiotic tariffs and regulations to prevent imports of other products to protect domestic manufacturing?

The problem is nobody thinks that deeply.  The Republicans know that don't need to reconcile this.  Just feed the idiots lies and they lap them up like hungry puppies.

Steve probably speaks for the majority of this board minus a few Trumpist bots and maybe a handful of others.  We're now voting for our democratic lives and the ones who will be complicit to the death of democracy will not only be the whackos but the apathetic who won't vote or the myopic who can't think past "high gas passes bad"

It’s amazing how much this guy lives off his dad.

And Trump Sr. got all of his $ from his dad. The Trumpers don't want to admit or even realize how terrible of a business man Trump is. If he had taken his fortune he inherited and just put it in the S&P 500, he would be a far wealthier man.

But…but…but….he’s the greatest business man the world has ever seen.
