There is no way Trump hasn’t told them he’ll never go on SNL. Also, Musk is possibly a bigger a$$h@!e than Trump.

Musk is proving daily that he is the antithesis of what he claimed to be when he bought Twitter. He’s a piece of s#!t that is the worst owner of a social media company in the world.

One thing I can promise, is none of the Republicans pretending to think the Democrats are fascists are going to worry that Biden will try to stay in power and Harris won't certify the election. And that would have been the case even if Biden had stayed in the race. It must be nice being a Republican or a Trump voter and not have to even think about that, but then spout bulls#!t about the Democrats being just as bad.

I hope you guys buckle in. Republicans are 3 months from experiencing the best economy of their lives. It, miraculously, will rapidly deteriorate for Democrats.

In all seriousness, Trump will be inheriting what is probably the best economic conditions a President has inherented probably in history. Hopefully he doesn't ruin it.

This is always one of my favorite type of graphs. It's a great way to show groupthink.

Best economic positional inheritance of any President?   I guess the real inflation numbers, and droves with reduced quality of life, are left out of the sampling.

Unfortunately for Biden and Kamala, the US might have a chance to not be in wars across the globe like we've cherished the last 4 years.

I'd say he inherited that last time around. I don't think things are as stable at the moment. I think we did a good job getting out of the pandemic situation but I don't think we are out of the woods yet. Competent governance should bring the recovery home but we will see what we get.

Inflation is below the 100 year historical average at ~2.5%, unemployment is at 4%, wage gains have exceeded inflation for more than a year and are concentrated towards American's lowest paid, GDP growth is at ~3%. Median real income is at record highs, median networth is at a record high, stock markets are at record highs.

You are more than welcome to link a time in Anerican history and describe the situation in which a President was handed a better economic situation.

Inflation has been far worse during the Biden administration, up 20.1% over the first 45 months of Biden’s term compared to 7.1% during Trump’s first 45 months, according to the government’s consumer price index. That equates to annualized inflation rates of 5.4% under Biden and 1.9% under Trump. Year-over-year inflation peaked under Biden at a four-decade high of 9% in 2022 before falling to just over 3%—which Biden has blamed on COVID-19’s lingering impact and the Russia-Ukraine war, supported at least in part by the global nature of the inflation outbreak.

Joe also far exceeded Trump in warmongering.  Big Guy exceeded expectation.

What is inflation now? What is it compared to the rest of the world? If inflation is currently a problem (it isn't) what is Trump's solution?

You have the internet. This is likely misplaced, but I believe in you!

The "economy" to most people is just "how are things compared now compared to how they were when I was in my peak situation" and housing/rent prices are up, and groceries are more expensive than they were in recent memory. Blaming it on Biden is stupid though. Thinking Trump will fix it is even more stupid.

Try to keep up. The conversation is about where the economy is at the end of one presidency and into the other, not what happened during parts of terms.

What did Biden inherit at the start? What is Trump in heriting at the start? Not what happened a year in.
