Really don’t like that I keep seeing “President Pelosi.”

That isn’t what this should be about.

The reason its coming up is because Pence is complicit in illegal activity and should also be removed from office. Nothing partisian about it, Pence has hitched his horse to the Trump wagon and should be treated as such.

Even when given multiple opportunities at this late juncture to distance himself from this Ukraine thing he has just doubled down with Trump and Rudy. He is a criminal and a traitor with the rest of them

I know why it’s coming up. I just don’t want people to focus on that. Focus on impeaching them without making it look like it’s all about making Pelosi the president.

The dominoes are falling FAST.

So let me get this straight.  Strong man Erdogan asks Trump, who is the boy girl for strong armed dictators and wishes he was one,  agreed to call off the prosecution against Erdogan's friend for violating Iran sanctions.  Erdogan, himself, could also be a co-conspirator.  And behind the scenes Barr and Mnuchin were slowing down the wheels of justice.

And even further behind the scenes, according to this NBC link,  Rudy was assisting by providing legal advise to the criminal who eventually cooperated and testified against the bank.

Zarrab, 33, and other financial professionals were charged with breaking U.S. sanctions and "laundering the proceeds of those illegal transactions, and defrauding several financial institutions by concealing the true nature of these transactions."

Zarrab, a dual Turkish Iranian national, struck a deal with prosecutors to cooperate and avoid trial, however.

Prior to striking a deal with prosecutors, then-acting U.S. Attorney Joon Kim sent a letter in late March 2017 suggesting that Rudolph Giuliani and former U.S. Attorney General Marc Mukasey had joined Zarrab's defense team to "explore a potential disposition of the criminal charges in the matter."

At the time, Kim raised his concerns that "Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Mukasey's involvement in this case is intended to occur entirely outside of the Court's purview and knowledge."

Giuliani and Mukasey had previously visited Turkey to discuss the case with Erdogan, a U.S. official directly briefed on the matter told NBC News.

Erdogan defended Zarrab when he was implicated in a 2013 Turkish corruption scandal that also implicated Erdogan associates. The Turkish leader called Zarrab — who had given his wife's charity $4.5 million — a philanthropist and praised his contributions to Turkish society. All charges against Zarrab and Erdogan's associates were dropped.

In 2017, Zarrab took the stand in a U.S. federal trial in New York to testify against a Halkbank executive who was arrested for his role in the scheme.

Hakan Atilla was ultimately convicted and sentenced to 32 months in prison for conspiring to violate U.S. sanctions.

Interpretation of the below- McTurtle wants to get the trial over quickly in case Trump becomes damaged goods - even if he isn't convicted by the senate. That way they can get  another candidate in the early primaries.

or possibly this interpretation:

McTurtle knows it will be a sham trial in the Senate, no need to worry. Get it over with quick so Trump can triumphantly start campaigning in Iowa and NH in January.

Senate Republicans are preparing for a speedy impeachment trial that concludes before the end of the year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told Senate Republicans on Wednesday that he expects Speaker Nancy Pelosi to approve articles of impeachment as early as Thanksgiving, according to five people familiar with Wednesday’s party lunch. McConnell then surmised that the Senate could deal with the trial by Christmas, concluding the impeachment proceedings before the Democratic presidential primaries begin.

While they said there’s no deal between Pelosi and McConnell, Republican senators believe it’s in both parties’ interest to move quickly.

“He thinks Democrats are of the same mind: let’s not drag this out for five weeks,” said one attendee of the lunch.

McConnell’s comments and PowerPoint presentation on Wednesday were in part an acknowledgment that impeachment is exceedingly likely to come to the Senate, and much of the discussion centered on the ins and outs of Senate procedure.

McConnell told senators they would be unable to speak during the trial and that only the chief justice of the Supreme Court, the president’s defenders and the House managers could talk, said one person familiar with the meeting.

Sounds like a sham? What’s a House manager? Unless he lets the House investigation leaders talk then it’s 100% a sham.

I guess it takes a Cavanaugh Confirmation or a slightly less than conclusive Mueller Report to bring out the Trump supporters on this board. I don't expect to see them now, but I am curious what they're thinking.

This is moving so fast it's hard to digest a single appalling element, but I do think we took a sharp turn with Trump pulling out of Syria, placating Russia, empowering ISIS, and betraying the Kurds who fought for us. Even Mulvaney's blatant admission of quid pro quo on Ukraine, and Rudy Guliani looking like an incompetent member of Tony Soprano's crew pales next to this:

Donald Trump has subverted longstanding GOP and conservative policy to do exactly what Vladimir Putin wanted the U.S. to do.

No MSM filters or agenda on this one. It's right there in the open.

Thoughts, Trump supporters?
