It's an odd theory but, the about face Graham has done on Trump would indicate to me there is something going on that Trump has on him.

No one is going to be taken down by this. The Trump admin is above the law. Just look at Graham and Rand Paul. They would give him a blow job on live TV while not impeaching him, if he asked them to. And enough of the public is sheep for Trump/the GOP that Trump/Pence might not even get taken down via vote, and both Graham and Paul will be re-elected when up for election. We have a large chunk of the population living in a fantasy land. If Trump doesn't end up staging a coup, someone else will now that they know how easy it would be.

Trump wants the focus on the Whistleblower to distract his base from having a second to stop and think about what he did. It's Three Card Monte. If they don't have constant distractions they might just actually read the transcripts, or pay attention to the damning testimony of the witnesses who have already come forth.

 

The reality is, we could dispense with the Whistleblower entirely at this point. There's more than enough evidence provided by other witnesses to corroborate what's in the initial WB statement to impeach Trump.

Oh I understand that, just from Trumps side of things crying about the identity of the whistleblower is dumb though obviously serves a purpose for him. Can't name the whistleblower must be phony

"Identifying any name for the whistleblower will simply place that individual and their family at risk," he told AFP.

"It won't, however, relieve the president of the need to address the substantive allegations, all of which have been substantially proven to be true."
