¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here is also a link to another article on it.  Trump is in deep sh...

I think when this all goes public, the polls will show the public turning away from Trump in droves -   except for the fraction of

the Trump alt-righters.

One poster after the article posted this and I thought it was worth re-posting:

I found this somewhere:
“ Let me give you some Truths about Trump:”

◦ The “billionaire” who hides his tax returns.
◦ The “genius” who hides his college grades.
◦ The “businessman” who bankrupted 3 casinos and lost over $1B in 10 years.
◦ The “playboy” who pays for sex.
◦ The “Christian” who doesn’t go to church.
◦ The “philanthropist” who defrauds charity.
◦ WThe “patriot” who dodged the draft.
◦ The “innocent man” who refuses to testify.

◦ Trump Translator:
◦ "Many People have told me" = Voices in my head and fictional people have complimented me
◦ "A lot of people don't know" = I just learned something most people already knew
◦ "Believe me" = I just lied
◦ "In Fact" = I'm about to lie
◦ "He's a great guy" = I will deny ever knowing this person after they begin to tell the truth about me
◦ "MAGA" = Making my pockets fatter off the American tax payers
◦ "Nobody knew" = Everyone knew except me
◦ "Huge" = Moderate to below average in size
◦ "Loser" = Someone who makes me feel inferior due to their talent or accomplishments
◦ "Policy Briefing" = Turning on Fox News
◦ "Liar" = Someone telling the truth about me
◦ "Fake News" = Real news

it had to be said ,,,, and it was said !!

I wonder who "anonymous' is :dunno --- kind of like 'Deep Throat' from the Nixon years.

The anonymous senior Trump administration official whose 2018 New York Times op-ed was called treasonous by President Donald Trump has written a new book about Trump titled "A Warning" that will be published next month, CNN has learned.

Lots of speculation it's KelleyAnne Conway.

I've also heard a pretty off-the-rails suggestion that it's Pence.

I think it's less likely to be either of them and way more likely to be some lower-level staffer who can talk a good game.

THIS will make him nutso.  So one month of off the rails for this on top of today's testimony.  Put on your seatbelt.

He's going to start a war. My guess is the nonsense in Syria is the first part of it.

It's supposedly a cabinet member and they aren't disclosing whether they're still there or not (so people are guessing yes - then others say it's to protect someone who has left since the oped).  The guesses back when the oped came out were 13 I think, including McGahn and Sessions, Pence, Javanka and more.

Saw that from Miller, and I have mixed emotions about it. I get what he's saying, and it's problematic that this person is remaining anonymous, meaning the weight of their words is that much less.

But that doesn't mean the Op/Ed or the book has/will have little value. Much like the anonymous whistleblower, good things can come from anonymous sources.

Great quote  and they also attack the messenger.  Amabassador Taylor is a highly respected individual.  The WH of course, states he is a part of a smear campaign.

I don't know, who should I trust  - the lying orange face in the WH who lies every day or the Ambassador who is highly respected by both parties, West Point grad, Vietnam Vet leader, long tenured public servant.   I just don't know.  :sarcasm

A West Point graduate who served for six years as an Army infantry officer, including with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam, Taylor is among the country’s most experienced diplomats, and has served in every administration of both parties since 1985.

Former officials of both parties described Taylor in glowing terms and suggested that his credibility would be difficult for Trump’s allies to question.

“Ambassador Bill Taylor is a person of integrity with a strong, ethical base,” said R. Nicholas Burns, a former undersecretary of state in the Bush administration. “I would also describe him as a true patriot. His entire professional life has been in service to the U.S.”

Stephen Sestanovich, who served as the State Department’s ambassador-at-large for the former Soviet Union under President Bill Clinton and who has traveled in Ukraine with Taylor, echoed that praise.

“You couldn’t ask for a more credible, universally respected, upright public servant to testify on the facts of this case,” he said, adding, “You want to go against Bill Taylor, you’ve got the whole city against you.”

The administration disputed that view on Tuesday. The White House press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, insisted in a statement that Trump “has done nothing wrong,” and lashed out at “a coordinated smear campaign from far-left lawmakers and radical unelected bureaucrats waging war on the Constitution.”

But few, if any, people who have worked with him see a radical in Taylor, who is soft-spoken and conservative in demeanor. Instead they describe someone motivated by American ideals since he served in the military and then entered government, first as an Energy Department employee and then a staff member for Sen. Bill Bradley, D-N.J.
