And yet believes and promotes Fox.

Interesting.

fwiw...fox news isn't bad....fox opinion shows on the other hand...are bad.     it's hannity, carlson, fox and friends, judge jeanine (worst of the entire batch IMO),  programs that spread the propaganda that often is a 180 turn from the news that the real news part of the organization reports.

This is completely off topic and it can be moved if need be but this is a serious question and one I'd like a Trump supporter to give an honest answer to.  When has Trump ever done anything that promotes the small town Main Street?  The Corporate tax cut?  Gutting the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau?  His pre-presidential real estate dealings in foreign countries where he didn't pay his own contractors, defrauded customers, and employed the illegal immigrants he rails against now.

Where does this myth that Donald Trump is for the blue collar worker come from?  He represents everything that is not blue collar or Main Street.

a bit of slight of hand  --- say words that ignite passion, but take action that support his friends and pads his wallet.

True.

But, too many Fox watchers spend their evenings watching all of those opinion shows and not enough just watching the news broadcasts.

I disagree, years ago it was pretty obvious that the "news" part of fox news exists to give them a "credibility" they can point to when people point out their propaganda from all their other shows.  Now we're finding out that they were doing things like killing stories they didn't want to come out prior to the election too.  They are a news organization only so far as it gives them something to shield themselves with and point to in an attempt to prove legitimacy.  So they are at least as bad on the news side, assuming all their news employees are duped and stupid into believing they are legitimate news, which is hard to believe.  If they know they are running cover for a propaganda network that makes them worse in my mind.

Also fwiw... CNN and MSNBC are exactly the same. Lemon, Maddow, ect. are terrible.

Rosenstein said he’d leave when he was satisfied with the Russia investigation winding down, and now he says he’s staying longer than he anticipated.

Remember when it was supposed to be finished on March 8?

On the other hand another prosecutor left the team today.

This is how it works in conservative land.

If you're a good, faithful soldier and vote the party line one everything (or at least the most visible stuff and the stuff that matters), you'll have a job waiting for you in the conservative ecosystem when you get out of office. Somewhat similar for liberals, but I don't believe the scale of liberal think tanks and MSNBC contributor positions are nearly as large.

It's a huge part of the reason you don't see even "principled" conservatives like Paul Ryan buck the president or Fox News much. That would be bad for the brand.

Our elected representation is broken largely because Congress members are incentivized to think long term. It's far more lucrative to have a cushy job lined up to support yourself and your family after you get out than take hard votes with your conscience based on what you think is best for people and our country as a whole.

Everyone calls this an echo chamber when crazed cookoos come in shouting nonsense and everyone collectively agrees, "uh...no, that's not true"

So because most everyone agrees that a person is "shouting nonsense",  that makes this an echo chamber?  Or does it make it a place for reasonable discussions based on real information?

You guys all bash FOX news and that's fine, I only watch one program on FOX in the morning alled FOX and Friends.  I never watch anything else on FOX News.  I also don't go to Brietbart or Info Wars and work most days 8-5 so I don't listen to Rush, Hannity or any other talk radio. Now let's look at what you watch.  CNN, MSMBC and the many many ultra liberal sites that too are all opinion and short on facts.  I hope you all know that you are in the minority today, with your need to have infants aborted, have 16 your old kids vote, have a need for the New Green Deal, flood our country with ILLEGAL Immigrants, and the great push for SOCIALISM.  Yes you are all out of the closet now!  The only reason you folks want most of these far far leftist liberal policies is to expand your dwindling voter base.  How in the heck is it legal to have none citizens vote in our elections? Having 16 year old kids that haven't a clue about politics and most likely would be told who to vote for by their liberal civics teacher!  The left is truly off their rocker!  Trump will win by a very easy margin even larger than the last time.  Also I'm not a troll, I just found this site and did realize the grammar police were out and when they have nothing other to attack a poster about, they choose grammar. Have a good day, I know that liberals live in misery daily! I will say a prayer for you all! This is my words of wisdom for the day.

Hopefully your time in prayer helps you relax. When you come back with a level head, I'd be interested in your answers to these questions.

1. Who here has said MSNBC and ultra liberal sites are better than Fox? There are discussions about how one is used as "state media" and that makes it different, but people here take all of these outlets with a grain of salt.

2. Who here has said infants need to be aborted?

3. Who here has said 16 year olds and undocumented immigrants should be eligible to vote?

4. Who here has said they want the country to be flooded with illegal immigrants?

But you are right about the Green New Deal: there has been discussions about its merits from both sides of the argument.  And most posters here recognize the fact that the climate is changing and we need to see what can be done to curb the impending damage.

EDIT:  One last question to the bolded. If we pretend for a moment everyone here actually believes what you think they do, how would taking on those agendas to EXPAND the voter base and win elections show that we are in the minority?  :dunno
