Because some people still need to wake up:

These people are all criminals, or indicted as criminals. I don't care if that Steele Dossier came from a cracker jack box, the Mueller Investigation has brought justice and is definitively a good thing.

1) George Papadopoulos - pleaded guilty to a process crime of lying to the FBI.  Things he lied about were nothing of consequence and he was not a central figure in this investigation

2) Paul Manafort - convicted/struck a plea deal (which he later violated) - They guy is a dirt bag, I'll agree, but he had already addressed these issue that he plead guilty to and the fact that Tony Podesta was doing exactly the same thing, (In fact he and Manafort where in business together) and he was never brought up on charges because Mueller chose to cut a deal with Podesta to get Manfort.  Surely no bias there! All charges unrelated to Trump or the campaign.

3) Rick Gates - struck a plea deal - Process crime of lying to the FBI in the Manfort guilty plea - Again unrelated to Trump or the campaign

4) Michael Flynn - pleaded guilty

5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies - pending - Will never come to trial because they all live in Russia and Mueller indicted them knowing he would never have to see them in court, but hey he got to count them as indictments

21) Richard Pinedo - pleaded guilty - Pinedo had a shady online website that sold stolen US bank account numbers to help people circumvent PayPal’s identity verification features. And some of his customers just so happened to be Russians involved in the so-called “troll farm,” a social media propaganda effort to influence the 2016 campaign. The operation was mainly run from a group called the Internet Research Agency and financed by oligarch and Putin crony Yevgeny Prigozhin.

22) Alex van der Zwaan - pleaded guilty - In his plea, Van Der Zwaan admitted to deleting emails and lying to prosecutors about a conversation with Rick Gates, a former Trump aide, about work they'd done for a Ukrainian political party, which was aligned with Russia. Again nothing related to the actual Trump Campaign

23) Konstantin Kilimnik- pending - Just another Manafort associate from the past that they are on a fishing trip with.  Will never even be charge!

24-35) 12 Russian GRU officers- pending - This is a fishing trip again that won't end up in any court

36) Michael Cohen - pleaded guilty - A habitual liar that plead guilty to something that wasn't even a crime.  Did so to keep his wife out of jail.

37) Roger Stone - pending - Again a process crime committed after the investigation started  Check this out!

That isn’t possible for these people to answer truthfully, even to themselves. They can’t admit to themselves they would be foaming at the mouth if this was Clinton or Obama, because these same people foamed at the mouth over much smaller issues when it was about Clinton.

Is there any way to delete a post when a mistake is made?  Can someone help a newby?  Thanks!

Analysis / Bias

In review, The Last Refuge (Conservative Treehouse) reports news with a strong right wing bias with all stories favoring the right and denigrating the left. There is considerable use of loaded language in headlines such as this: Sketchy Business: Grassley Releases Original Ford Letter to Feinstein… Although this particular article is written well and utilizes sourcing, it ends in big bold letters LIES!, conveying strong support for Judge Kavanaugh without evidence. On the website they also list a blogroll of favorite/similar media sources that come straight from our right bias and questionable sources list. Here are a few examples: Gateway Pundit (questionable), Geller Report (questionable), Jihad Watch(questionable) and Truth Revolt (questionable).

Are you saying it's not accurate?  I challenge to prove they have falsely reported anything.  Sure it has a bias slant,  the difference is that it's still factual.

@MNBigRedNorth is Trump administration officials pleading guilty to federal charges fake news too?

Edit: if I may pose a scenario, imagine all of the facts are the exact same, just put Clinton in place of Trump. What would you think of all of this in that context?

No it's not fake news, it's just that the reporting of the pleas and actual crimes committed are made to look like Trump was involved, when he wasn't.  If you folk can't figure that out, lord help us!  The later is the fake news part of it! See the post above with all the indictments and pending cases to see what I'm talking about.

Trump hired these people to be apart of his campaign so he is at least somewhat involved. So you're telling me you'd be defending Hillary Clintons honor on this issue if she was in Trumps position?

You can click "edit" and then just clear it out.  Typically when folks do it they'll write "nevermind" or something similar.

 So based on some of the defenses you've typed out here;

  • You're ok with someone crashing a car as long as they don't kill somebody and as long as they're not someone important.
  • If all the cool kids are doing it, it's ok to smoke pot/drive drunk/disobey your parents/rob a bank.
  • It's ok to recruit the bank robbers, as long as you don't get seen riding with them in the car.
  • If someone lives far away, its like the crime they committed doesn't really count because you can't see them anymore.
  • If there's smoke, there's probably not fire, unless the MSM found out that you had a fireplace and snuck in and set up a Dura-log, and then purposely closed the flue because they know when you're home and they want you to have smoke damage.

I get such a kick out of the defense of Trump being that Trump isn't the bad guy, it's all the liars and thieves and crooks that Trump hired and has worked with for decades who are the bad guys.

It's even richer when you can find dozens and dozens of times where Trump has complimented and defended and praised all these men as good people, as honest/trustworthy, as all sorts of good things which they clearly aren't. So, either Trump is also a dirty liar who shouldn't be trusted, or Trump is a total f#&%ing clueless idiot the likes of which we've never seen before.

What's that saying about the company you keep again? The one from the Bible and the most famous fables in history?

Lawfair is one of the most knowledgeable feeds I follow on Twitter.  It’s laughable that someone thinks they a liberal shill.

Couldn't agree more.  Their balance is really respectable, and if you start looking into their contributing editors it's really incredible who all writes in.

And ironically, this tweet just went out,

It's easier than that.

People who kiss his a$$ and go to bat for him are good people.

Anybody else is expendable.

His view of human worth is utterly transactional. What can you do for me?

Websites dedicated to investigating facts are the biggest liberal sites. Another confirmation that facts have a liberal bias.

Go back up and read TGHusker's post. Take his words to heart. Just because you hold conservative ideals doesn't mean you have lose your mind along with the party.
