Outside this posting board people are really mad at the Dems although in here you guys feel all nice and safe talk to one another.  Best you start looking a reality and think for your self and not how you were brain washed in your up bring.

You don't know s#!t about me or my upbringing. Stop with your bulls#!t way of speaking to people here. Most people you're talking to this way are not Democrats. I've never been a Democrat and my mom has always been a Republican.

You don't have to imagine. Just dip back a couple decades to a Republican controlled Congress dedicating every waking hour to impeaching Bill Cinton, starting with a 20 year old Arkansas land deal that turned up nothing actionable, which naturally led to the semen on a White House intern's dress. Fill in the blanks with first lady Hillary Clinton having Vince Foster killed to cover up her lesbian affair. The only thing they could hang on Clinton to move forward with impeachment was lying under oath, when he wasn't forthright about putting a cigar in a young woman's vagina.

and when I grew up I realized that Impeachment over ticky tacky victimless violations is bad for the entire country and the Rs should never have done it, even though Clinton did commit perjury.  The history of Impeachment is one of petty partisanship, starting when the Radical Republicans could not articulate a reason why Andrew Johnson had committed 'high crimes and misdemeanors.'

A lesson for Democrats: Bill Clinton's approval numbers actually went up after that.

Now imagine this: all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agree that Russia sought to influence the U.S. election by undermining Donald Trump, the speculation that Vladimir Putin preferred Hillary Clinton as President. The Obama White House learns about this before the election, but doesn't go public. Donald Trump wins the popular vote but Hillary Clinton wins the Presidency through the electoral college. She immediately undermines the entire U.S. intelligence community for casting doubt on her legitimacy, even as they are turning up incontrovertible evidence that Clinton's campaign manager and other associates were representing Russian interests illegally, while Chelsea Clinton was getting a taste of the family business by opening "Clinton Towers" in Azerbaijan, providing cover for a money-launder operation by a corrupt family of former Soviets.  Hillary Clinton stands before the world and says she believes Vladimir Putin over her own intelligence agencies. She proceeds to attack NATO, fulfilling one of Putin's greatest dreams. Just for fun, Hillary also tells the world she has "fallen in love" with Kim Jung Un, a really great guy who said nice things about her, as she ignores the sanction recommendations of her own administration. That she illegally paid $130,000 in hush money from her campaign to silence one of her multiple lesbian prostitutes is so far down the list it's almost a distraction.

Notre Dame Joe: tell me you wouldn't want to investigate the s#!t out of that.

And that if you couldn't make a federal case that Hillary herself colluded on Russia's proven campaign interference, you'd agree it was time to move on. Nothing to see here.

You've really nailed the opposite of my opinions here.  It's not really news that Russia sought to influence a foreign election, that's what they do.  FYI there's another country that meddles in others' elections all the time.

What do you think the Clinton foundation was?  an apolitical charity?  Do you think Hilary didn't know about and partake in efforts to silence Bill's women?  Was the country worse off because of Bill's philandering?  I'm fine with House investigations because they are part of the political process.  Not fine with a legal mob searching for pretexts to arrest Chelsea Clinton or the HRC's personal lawyer to extort them into treachery.   Or grabbing sound bytes as in lieu of evidence as though they meant anything other than international diplomacy.

America is exceptional because we do not use the law enforcement machine to go after political opponents (until 2016).  For all the complaints about Russia, the Left would have us be another version of them; Show me the Man, I'll show you the crime.

Here's Barr's letter in its entirety.  Remember, these are not Mueller's words, or his findings.

And remember, Trump appointed Barr only after he wrote a 19-page unsolicited memo, before seeing any evidence, concluding that “Mueller’s obstruction theory is fatally misconceived” and “Mueller should not be permitted to demand that the president submit to interrogation about the alleged obstruction.”

i am a life long republican.  56 years old white male construction worker who has been married 29 years and have 4 kids.    i still think trump is the biggest mistake our country has ever made....quite the accomplishment as i used to feel that way about clinton.   integrity and honesty matter to me and i see nothing approaching integrity or honesty in trump.

And Trump will always be a complete a$$h@!e for the way he attacked Mueller and the investigation. He should have wanted to find out whether people working for him were influenced by Russia.

A complete a$$h@!e we chose to lead us, who also constantly breaks the law, lies, insults, disrespects and disobeys every custom and rule of the office, and who apparently is just gonna get away with it all.

Forgive me if this sounds a bit hyperbolic or overdramatic but this kind of disappointment is what makes people give up on democracy/due process. Easiest way to convince people to give up their freedom is to demonstrate that they have no power.

The left didn't feed me Trump Trump's audiotape about grabbing women by the pu&&y because when you're rich they let you do it. The one where he tried to move on her like a bitch.

The left didn't feed me Trump's marriages, infidelity, divorces, and more infidelity.

The left didn't feed me Trump's racist housing discriminations and quotes about black people/jews/etc.

It didn't feed me Trump's insistence on sophomoric schoolyard bully nicknames for good people (most of them our allies) while praising dictators

It didn't feed me his garbage business practices, defrauding people, refusing to pay contractors for work, bankrupting businesses, funneling his dad's money through tax evasion, and so on.

It didn't feed me that he dodged the draft with lies about his medical fitness because he's a coward.

Trump did all those things. They actually happened. And the left has nothing to do with the reality that all of those things happened.

Well we certainly are in agreement on both of these points. I’ve brought them up before, and they didn’t go over well. America isn’t so exceptional on the election interference front and I wouldn’t give the Russians a lick of credit for the 2016 results..,.even if their troll farms are kinda creepy.

i did hope that by swapping names in the scenario you might recognize that while this one might be partisan, it’s hardly petty. As much as the word “treason” has been bandied about for Obama and Clinton, the history and behavior of Trump comes much closer to the textbook definition. You seem more discerning then many on this subject, so I hope you’ll notice that this isn’t simply the revenge of “the Left” but a concern shared by people who don’t think Trump is fit to lead, a pretty prestigious group that includes former trump confidants. The notion that the FBI and CIA are Dem friendly operatives is laughable, and you sound like a guy who knows that.
