This is just precious. This is about a month after he KNEW he met with a Russian lawyer where he thought he was going to get dirt on Clinton from the Russians.

Trump and his kids absolutely can't be trusted with what comes out of their mouths.

Look into the eyes and facial expressions of him when he knows he is telling a bald faced lie. At the end of the statement, he smirks thinking he is getting away with something really great.

At this moment in time, let's not forget this little gem.

Yea, I the same lawyer wants to sell you land in Florida in the path of Irma.      He'd consulted with his lawyer--- 1. He obviously didn't consult wt his lawyer when he made the move to meet wt the Russians (Jared had the sense to leave), 2. His lawyer would of only aided the Trump campaign in how to use the info to attack Hillary - no way he would have asked the lawyer if it was legal to use the info - that isn't their mode of operations.

Trump Jr. told committee staffers that if he'd gotten dirt on Clinton, he'd have consulted with his lawyer, but nothing came of the meeting.

Two things I found interesting about Jr's testimony.

1. Dem Senator on that committee sends out memo noting statute about lying to Congress. Could be nothing, could be something.

2. News leaks immediately that Mueller now wants to talk to the White House about how exactly their initial untruthful statement regarding Jr.'s meeting was put together and why.

It's interesting to see the overlap in the investigations. Clearly they're working together.

Remember Devin Nunes? The Head of the House Intel Committee who badly wanted to convince you the REAL controversy wasn't Trump-Russia but rather the illegal unmasking of Americans by Obama staffers for political purposes? Who so badly wanted to convince you that he snuck off to the White House in the dead of night to get information FROM the White House so he could hold a press conference there about intelligence he had received re: unmasking that implicated the Obama administration?

Hilarious plot twist: Devin Nunes' counter-investigation, which he has still be conducting behind the scenes, has blown up in his face:

Quote

(Reuters) - Republican lawmaker Devin Nunes’ investigation into whether Obama administration officials used classified intelligence reports to discredit Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign team could backfire on the congressman - and the president, sources familiar with the reports said.

The reports contain no evidence that any aides to former Democratic President Barack Obama acted improperly, the sources said, but they do indicate some Trump associates may have violated an obscure 1799 law, the Logan Act, which prohibits unauthorized U.S. citizens from negotiating with a foreign government that has a dispute with the United States.

The spying reports also are relevant to the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into conclusions by U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia worked to tilt last November’s election in Republican Trump’s favor, said the sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Mueller’s office declined to comment.

But hey, at least he did Mueller a solid.
