4skers89
https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/07/politics/who-won-the-debate/index.html Bernie listed as a winner. Admittedly I don't know much about this Buttigieg guy but Sanders is probably the best candidate, IMO. He is known nationally. Link to comment
teachercd
Biden is either a genius or a moron. He either knows he doesn't have to do anything to win the nomination because of the fact that he was VP and (because of interference and corruption that some of you pretend only happens to the "other" party) or he just is clueless. Right now, I am worried because of the fact that I have money riding on him to win that nomination. I just don't get how he doesn't have one story to tell or one quip or joke OR ANYTHING at all to get peoples attention. Link to comment

Ratt Mhule
How the hell does this guy still have a job? His career has run its course long ago. Thank god they have a level headed Chris Hayes on the panel or none of those other losers would have said anything. MSM is garbage. 1 Link to comment

A HYPOTHETICAL question for you. Would you rather have Sanders at 50% chance at beating Trump or any other Dem at 70% be the nominee. Link to comment

commando
is it just me or does anyone else cringe whenever somebody slams the "MSM" in favor of their preferred far left or right view on something? i pretty much ignore whatever they say whenever they use the term. says to me they are getting their bullet points from a radical sight that claims it is the only source of "truth". 2 Link to comment

Not just you. It’s always good to question things and hold news organizations accountable so they will keep reporting when they make a mistake, but not then go to some site where people write whatever the f#&% they want that happens to sound good to you. Would you rather have Sanders at 50% chance at beating Trump or any other Dem at 70% be the nominee. That's actually beyond hypothetical. At this point in the chaotic process, the Top 4 Dems would all beat Trump in the general election. The top two are Sanders and Biden, generally no more than a point or two between them. Where would this 70% miracle Dem come from, other being the candidate who earns the most votes and delegates in the primaries? Do people think it's Bloomberg jumping in, allowing Dems to run their own Republican New York billionaire? This generally assumes that what the Dems need is to attract disgruntled Republicans, independents and other swing voters, at the risk of de-motivating their more liberal base. The latest analysis suggests these swing voters are largely a myth. The far more significant demo is people who aren't inclined to vote at all. We forget that many Democrats were similarly horrified by the Bush/Cheney administration, and got behind a candidate who excited absolutely one because John Kerry was a decorated war vet who would make them look less tree-huggy. Hillary Clinton was the establishment moderate, too. 1 Link to comment

Bernie Sanders has concluded that it's time to be bold because we really don't have a choice. FDR was called a socialist and a communist for turning around a Great Depression forged on drunken Capitalism, then launching the massive social engineering that created the American middle class and global economic leadership that Trumpists are thinking about when they want to make America great again. The wealthy screamed bloody murder in FDR's day, too, but they managed to do quite well for themselves. Wish we could abide some of those lessons of the past. 3 Link to comment

Remember when FDR tried to create a new supreme court?? I mean...well. Don't get me wrong, it was a brilliant move...but it was shady as a big ole oak tree. Or any tree that has lots of leaves. I don't know much about trees. Link to comment
