The 2020 Presidential Election - Convention & General Election

This is complete ineptitude.  Anyone who has ever installed or started using a major software system within an organization knows a) You don't fridges do it at the last minute and...b)  you train, test, retest, then test again to make sure it all works and everyone knows what the hell they are doing.  And...to think these people knew they were going to hold a caucus 4 years ago.

It's evident there wasn't any kind of development methodology going on here.

So, "Shadow, Inc.," you:

  • Began development on this application only a few weeks ago
  • Didn't train users on the app
  • Didn't do any cross-platform testing (had one lady say it worked perfectly for her - probably an iOS user - while Android users couldn't do squat)
  • Didn't do any unit testing, load testing, or ANY kind of testing.
  • Didn't get user acceptance testing results (obviously)
  • Didn't have adequate support staff on call to support the true go-live
  • Didn't get it vetted by the DHS (which isn't uncommon, but dang, another pair of eyes wouldn't have hurt)

And here's their "front end engineer" application (with my red-flags highlighted):

  • Mobile development experience

1. How is it possible that your NICE TO HAVE of Mobile Development Experience isn't a HAVE TO HAVE?

2. Where's the experience that one would have to handle such sensitive data?

3. You want to be collaborative in a startup, but are willing to accept remote candidates?

Yikes.

Right now with partial results 62% reporting:

Pete: 27%

Sanders: 25%

Warren: 18%

Biden: 16%

Huge surprises: Everyone thought Pete would destroy Sanders in Polk County where Des Moines is, Sanders is winning that along with the "college" counties.

Pete is destroying Sanders in Iowa rural counties that are typically where more Republicans are. So that shows that the moderates are definately interested in Pete.

That’s about opposite of what I would expect.
