Not buying it.  I've been to rally's..  Most people are like me and not even close to MAGA morons.  There are fringe people who get a little too excited...but there are those in every crowd for every cause.

I think people are generalizing and I think the mass media reports that your generalizations are true which is confirmation bias.  I flat out don't think it's true.

Not asking anybody to buy anything nor am I generalizing or peddling confirmation bias. I'm merely sharing my experiences.

Obviously your mileage may vary.

if you really believe the dems are as crooked as trump....what makes any of them better than trump?

I didnt say they were AS crooked as Trump. They were crooked before Trump and will still be crooked after Trump unless something drastic happens. But yes, Trump is worse.

They aren't.

The only difference is they sabotage their own.

And they are not good at it...

I give Bernie all the credit in that world...that old man is a fighter!

Also...does Biden still know that he is running?

Are you guys are trying to convince me to vote for trump?   the dems are evil....but vote for them anyway?

They are politicians. It doesnt matter what “party” they are in, they have the same goal, make their donors a lot of money. Just watch, if Sanders is the nominee, dem politicians will vote Trump. 100%. Because them and their donors are still making money with him in office. Its sad but its American politics for ya.

I didnt say all. Some will. Joe Manchin has pretty much said as much. Clinton said she doesnt know if she would vote for Sanders.

i was a republican (newly registered independent now)  who hates what trump has done to the party...and really don't like sanders but will vote for him over trump 7 days a week.   i believe most dems will.  my preference is biden as i think he is as interesting as dry toast and his presidency would allow this constant political warfare to settle down a lot.  but....anyone is better then trump so pick your candidate and i will vote for them.   trump needs to go away for the good of the country.

Raise your hand if you'd be fine with either Sanders OR Buttigieg winning the nomination.

I'll start.

Anyone but Biden.

Yeah, I don’t care what the polling vs Trump says. No way Biden beats him imo. He is just too far gone and out of it to generate the required opposition and excitement. I’m also a little concerned that Sanders will be perceived as too radical/socialist to appeal to enough in the general election. Heck I’m not even sure I could cast that vote and I hate Trump. Honestly Buttegeig may be the only one that would get me to actually vote. And that’s sort of sad because I think he does a lot of just saying what people want to hear rather than actually believing that’s what needs to be done. The pitiful thing is that as bad as Trump is, the dems are offering up a piss poor lineup to try to get him out. It’s like they learned nothing from Hillary vs Trump. IMO, the only thing in the dems favor is that Trump is as bad as he is...and I’m not convinced that’s going to be enough. Maybe it will start to clear up once Warren and Biden are out of the way and they can dial it into the broader general election effort.

I just don't get how Sanders is so radical. Our defense budget is over 600 billion per year. Student loan debt increased by 80 billion per year from 2003 to 2018. Reducing some of that is no more radical than paying 600 billion per year on defense, and I would argue it's less so.

I don't know if I think all of it should be forgiven, but I see no reason why we can't pick some professions college is free for. Let's start with teaching degrees and nursing/medical degrees and criminal justice degrees and go from there. That isn't anymore radical than spending 4x more than China on our military.

Considering universal health care to be a radical concept is just silly so I won't get into that.
