He isn't participating til super Tuesday.  Im not crying, Im warning.  Most people don't know his record.  Well, a bunch of videos emerged the other day showing the type of person he is.  I knew his record was pretty bad as mayor of NYC but it is worse than even I thought.

If you want to trade in a bad guy for another bad guy that's on you.  I want my guy to win, but if he doesn't, which chances are he wont, I want someone who isn't a complete scumbag in the white house.

Look I get that Bloomberg sucks but if he's the nominee he's the nominee and hate to break it to you he is far better than Trump. He may be s#!t but Trump will literally dismantle the constitution to stay in power indefinitely. Thats not a joke, he will work hard to dismantle presidential term limits and find a way to set up a monarchy for his family. Bloomberg will not do that. Trump is an immediate threat to the American way. Bloomberg is not the threat Trump is plain and simple. If you don't want him to win then do your part to beat him in the primary but I think the he's just as bad as Trump schtick is complete BS.

Edit: also, what's with the defeatist attitude? Sanders is leading, why would you say he probably won't win? This is that crap I'm tired of from everyone who isn't a Trump supporter. Have some confidence! The numbers back your guy I don't care about the 'fix'. Worry about that when it actually happens. Trumps numbers are honestly kinda terrible for an incumbent and his supporters are screeching landslide victory 10 months out. They are confident. We need to combat that confidence with equal confidence backed by action. I don't understand why people just give in to the idea Trump will win or Sanders will lose the nomination all of that? Why? What actual facts are people basing this on? Because when you look at the data it tells a different story. Why don't we fight back and say no this is what's going to happen and we have the people on our side? Stop moping about losing before you've even lost.

See, this is where I think most people on the left fall...I think most people that are into politics are this way.  I don't think much really sways us...

Most people on here are not 'the left'. Most people that feel the way commando does sees Trump as the greatest threat to the American Constitution ever. Literally ever in our entire history. So it makes sense those people would prefer a bag of rocks to Trump.

Exactly, so you and pretty much no one else would let propaganda from the right influence you.

there are people that it does influence.   especially when it bleeds over into all media.   people who don't listen to rush or watch fox news know about trumps claims against Biden.

You could be right.  I guess I don't know anyone that is so easily influenced.  But I am sure there are people out there like that.

I sure don't want a scum bag either.  By any account he still would be better than the known scumbag we have now in the WH.  One has to remember that before the days of mass media being everywhere, we had plenty of scum bags in the WH -  LBJ by all accounts was such, we knew Nixon was as well as Clinton and probably a lot more down' through the years.  I'm not excusing scumbagging either -just a reality.   My hope is that one of the other Dems - who are really running the race in all of the primaries will rise to the top.  If this ends up in a brokered convention who knows what the outcome might be - Bloomberg may be able to buy it.    I hope after Nevada and SC that the moderate consolidate under one name and the same for the progressives.  Give everyone a clear choice.   For me, I'm leaning towards Amy.  I think she has a  good  record and yet cannot be attacked as easily as the others by the trump slander machine.

I can see Trump pounding out on twitter about  Socialist Bernie, or Pocahontas Elizabeth, No Experience Pete, Corrupt Biden, & Little Mike.  What is he going to say about Amy?   She is likable and he can't attack the fact that she's a woman- that would backfire. She is tough minded- had to be as a DA.  She is smart, seems to be liked by the fellow senators and has a good record in the Senate and as a DA.  She seems like a worker and not a headline grabber.  She isn't perfect and their have been a few questionable issues.   Of course we don't pick a candidate because they may not have as big of a target on their back for slanderous statements, we have to agree with their vision and their policy proposals.

What you don't realize is how subtle that propaganda can be. It definitely influences people. I've seen many against Trump seem to give in to the idea that he will win and there is nothing we can do. They feel helpless. That is a result of propaganda. It works on different levels depending on your views

Amen.  I think Weld getting 12k votes in NH can be telling.  Trump just needs to lose a relatively few votes in Wisc, Mi, Penn, Fl or lose this election.  It was a 'perfect storm' that enable to pull it off in 2016 - terrible Hillary, Russian interference, dumb down electorate and we get trump.

I'm not disagreeing with you but Trump will certainly find a way to attack Klobuchar if she became his opponent. It's all he knows and he will look for any angle and latch on. I don't think we should worry about that part of it. That said Klobuchar is a solid candidate

None of this has changed.  And the way dems appear to be fighting with each other, I'm going to assume that whatever candidate wins the nomination won't have a full backing of dem voters.  Which means that we could get another 4 years.

My hope is that there is enough time between knowing who the nominee is and the general election to rally the troops and remind them that any dem (even Bloomberg if he's the nominee) is better than Trump.

with barr in charge of the DOJ.....i can almost assure you that sometime between the primaries and before the election there will be an announcement of an investigation into the dem nominee or maybe even some charges brought against them.  won't matter who it is.

FWIW...I agree that Klobuchar is a solid candidate.    i would be happy to vote for her right now

People will rally around the dem nominee. All of the infighting right now is creating confusion but realistically when the time comes you will either be for Trump or against him. That's how this election should and will be framed. I think of the 2016 Republican primary. How many in that time were warning about Trump? Saying he couldn't win, saying they wouldn't support him? There are so many clips of Republicans law makers being anti Trump before they were faced with the reality it was either him or Clinton. They fell in line pretty quickly. I imagine the same will happen on the Dem side this year
