with barr in charge of the DOJ.....i can almost assure you that sometime between the primaries and before the election there will be an announcement of an investigation into the dem nominee or maybe even some charges brought against them.  won't matter who it is.

FWIW...I agree that Klobuchar is a solid candidate.    i would be happy to vote for her right now

You are likely right. They will do everything, and I mean everything to stay in power. It's up to the people to take our country back

What you don't realize is how subtle that propaganda can be. It definitely influences people. I've seen many against Trump seem to give in to the idea that he will win and there is nothing we can do. They feel helpless. That is a result of propaganda. It works on different levels depending on your views

I guess...but that sounds really weak minded.

Lots of people are that and it’s been proven commercials work on people. I see no reason political BS would be any different.

The only reason I would think is because politics is such a big topic to people, compared to say, which cat litter you are going to purchase.

It spreads like an infection. These views get pumped out by russian bots posing as 'resisters' to Trump and people start to become confused. You start to question yourself when the Trump people are saying they will win in a landslide victory and then people you think are on your side start saying I think Trump is going to win because x y or z. It's more powerful then you might imagine because just planting a seed of doubt is enough

I'm not disagreeing with you but Trump will certainly find a way to attack Klobuchar if she became his opponent. It's all he knows and he will look for any angle and latch on. I don't think we should worry about that part of it. That said Klobuchar is a solid candidate

It is one thing for him to attach Hillary - Hillary had her own unlikable baggage.  It is anther to attack Klobuchar.   I'm sure 'small hands' will find a way regardless.  He is too much of a childish narcissistic to do otherwise.

You're correct, Trump's bribes for ginned-up foreign election interference seem to have worked.

It would have been better for Biden if it had.  If UKR would have done an 'investigation' there'd be a story for Biden to attack.  Instead he got 6 months of Hunter Biden____Ukraine____$50,000 a month.  And Joe could only say it wasn't so.

You could be right.  I guess I don't know anyone that is so easily influenced.  But I am sure there are people out there like that.

This is exactly the case I tried to make yesterday.

Can Sanders win the election? Yes. Absolutely, unequivocally. Anyone of them can win. He's got a strong shot through the Rust Belt.

Will he help elect a Congress that will enact his agenda? Absolutely not. He's going to be a big liability in a lot of purple districts and Senate races.

Quote

In anxious huddles around the Capitol, apprehensive Democrats are sharing their worries that Sanders' socialist label and unyielding embrace of controversial proposals like "Medicare for All" and the Green New Deal will repel voters in the affluent, moderate districts that flipped House control in 2018 and in closely divided states where Republican senators are vulnerable.

The Vermont independent narrowly won New Hampshire Tuesday on the heels of a strong showing in Iowa and is widely seen as a front-runner, along with former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

“I'm a proud capitalist,” said freshman Rep. Ben McAdams, D-Utah, in pointed contrast with Sanders. McAdams, who is supporting former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and whose Salt Lake City district will be among the toughest for Democrats to defend, said having a liberal like Sanders atop his party's ticket “would probably give me more opportunities to show my independence” from the party.

Another freshman from a competitive district, Rep. Tom Malinowski, D-N.J., said Democrats need a presidential nominee who “doesn't scare all those future former Republicans more than Trump scares them." And while acknowledging that Republicans plan to tar all Democrats with the socialist label, ”There's one candidate for whom that would not be a lie.”

Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., who backs the candidacy of former Vice President Joe Biden, warned a group of Democratic voters this week in Carson City, Nevada, that with Sanders atop the ticket, “you're not going to take back the Senate. There's not any way, because everybody's going to be tarred with the same brush. We will probably lose seats in the House.”

In private conversations, other Democrats are more succinct. One House Democrat said colleagues from swing districts are scared by the prospects of a Sanders nomination, while another said moderates are increasingly concerned that a Sanders candidacy would devastate their prospects for winning the White House and retaining the House. The lawmakers insisted on anonymity to describe private conversations.

But why?  Is it because he is unlikeable or because his ideas are crazy?

Its because hes a crazy radical.  Everyone knows, especially in purple districts, that they LOVE getting ripped off on their prescription drugs!  They also love going bankrupt from medical bills.  Its the best feeling EVER!

If he wins, I can't wait to see how happy people are the day after he takes office and waves his wand and makes all college debt disappear!

Purple district democratic congressman: No, I don't think you should have healthcare, lower prescription drug prices or get an education because that's socialism!

*gets voted out*

Congressman: Its Bernie Sanders fault!!!

I'm assuming you're snarking at the argument because you know it's correct.

But if you could kindly point me towards the Sanders-style progressives that won in these states and districts in 2018, I'd love to see them.

I'll wait.

Also those issues are all part of other candidates agendas as well...
