Xmassader
Huskersrule95. Just checked the list of CWS winners. HC is on it. Nebraska is not. Over the years, HC has sent 79 alums to MLB, including one for whom the Cleveland Indians are named---11th highest total among all colleges. Nebraska is not in the top 10. No gloating here. As regular season Big Ten champs, I'm sure the Huskers are a fine team. Nevertheless, the games are played on the field. Admittedly, since HC joined the non-scholarship Patriot League in 1991, its athletic profile has diminished but as last night's game with Oregon State and today's game with Nebraska showed, HC is a credible D-1 opponent. Two former Crusaders are currently in the minor leagues, including the son of the Diamondbacks manager. Perhaps a loss to "freaking" Holy Cross should not have come as such a surprise⚾️ Quote Link to comment

Congrats to them for doing good forever ago but irrelevant to what happened today. Nebraska has players in MLB which is also irrelevant to game today. Holy Cross had a losing record so based on what happened THIS season we were favorite and should have won. You are right games are played on the field and Holy Cross was the better team today and deserved the win 1 Quote Link to comment
