I should note that many Republican Senators disagreed with their judicial philosphy but still voted for them and did not support a hoax to derail Obamas picks. 1 Link to comment

If he didn't get the Supreme Court seat he'd have gone back to his regular life. He literally would suffer the same consequences as Merrick Garland. The conservative hysteria over rightfully investigating a rape accusation for a lifetime appointee is tiresome. The allegations deserved to be taken seriously, they were investigated, no proof was found, and there Bert is. He suffered nothing more than any other American accused of a crime has suffered. He deserves no special treatment His name is Brett and its shameful what was done to him and that more Dems have not apologized for their behavior. Its the primary reason Trump defied history and added Senate seats at the first mid-term. 1 Link to comment
QMany
I see you’ve completely omitted the third SCOTUS pick, Merrick Garland. That’s convenient. 3 Link to comment

Landlord
So apparently Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez can't actually move to DC for another few months until her term starts. Why? Because she's a normal citizen with normal citizen money and she can't afford the cost to move and get an apartment until her salary kicks in just another example of how the game of American politics is not at all representative of real life citizens. 2 Link to comment

Which begs the question, in this day and age, with the technology we have available, do they need to live in DC? I think they should live in the state they represent, among the people they represent, and the salary should be the mean salary of the people they represent. They can fly to DC for only the most important of meetings/votes, but everything they do in DC can be done locally. 1 Link to comment

I will never in my life understand why a poor or middle class person would vote for a rich person to represent them, like the rich person knows what they are going through or even gives a s#!t what they are going through. We need more politicians like this if you really want to drain the swamp. Regular, working people that actually understand the struggle and want to make a difference. 3 1 Link to comment
