Lee was a positive, RBs were a positive.

Heck Nebraska has the offense to win games this year, but a bad/good season to a great season will be dependent on the defenses progress and adjustments.

I just wish, that when we are up two or more possessions in the fourth quarter, we RUN the ball more rather then continue passing. I get the playing not to lose can hurt you, but this is different. 8 minutes left in a game up by 14 points, lets just not pass and impose our will on the opposing defense.

Langs is a pass happy a$$hole, he doesn't think!

If the Defense makes a 180 and chalks up a win next week most of them will go back into hiding.  If not, get ready for a dumpster fire.

Red sure seems like you were questioning things!

But as i remember from last yr you would be upset during and after the game , but be all good the next day.

I'm still questioning things pretty hard.  I'm just not calling for a swamp draining after one game.

Offense only gets you so far in a team sport, and we face a lot of good defenses.

Rewatching the 60 minute replay:

-Lee throws a beautiful ball, and he is eager to perform well

-Bryant isn't a break away speed guy but damn he can truck, give him a line to work behind and look out

-The little pressure we put on thr QB comes FAR too late

-Secondary looks like it learned nothing in fall camp, just terrible

-Stupid stupid penalties, gotta clean that up quickly

-Receicers are going to be our biggest strength down the stretch

-Short pass defense we still refuse to close the gap, play too far off the line and away from receivers

-Tackling is so so most the time, looks soft

-Absolute joke they were gifted that FG at half

-Kalu may be our most important Defensive player

-I really think Arkansas State has a special defensive unit this year

Kalu looked really good.  I forgot about him.

He did get beat hard, if I'm reading the coverage right, on the pass that was intended for the open receiver in the end zone but was tipped by a lineman and then intercepted. He got saved there.

But ultimately, Kalu looked great. Impressed at how he has transformed mentally, physically, and as a leader since he got here. Heck, he looks like a completely different player, physically, than just last year.
