Roll Skers
How many people do you think will really show up for 1-2 Nebraska vs 1-2 Rutgers... 80k? What a joke 1 Quote Link to comment
Garry G
Any chance warren buffett buys valentinos for eveyone to keep the stadium full?? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I don't care, the sellout streak needs to end, those days are gone. The only way the school is going to listen to the fans is by attacking the schools pocket book. Quote Link to comment
San Diego Husker
it will sell out but there may be lots of fans dressed as empty seats. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker66
some bank will come along and buy up whats left....waste of money Quote Link to comment
secretasianman
The game will officially be a sell out, but there will be a noticeable amount of empty seats. Since the East Stadium expansion, the upper deck is noticeably less than full for any mediocre game. Quote Link to comment
FearAmeer
They gonna have to lower the ticket prices to 10$ for me to show up to any game this season Quote Link to comment

BoNeyard
Remember in year 1 when Riley ended so many of Nebraska records? Well, what better way for him to be sent off then to end that last great almost monument of a record we hold that is the sell out streak. Quote Link to comment

Every disgruntled fanbase in the country says the same thing...without such a sellout streak. A lot of times, even when attendance drops, it's associated with something else....marketing, for instance. You may be voting with your wallet because you think it's too expensive, they may think their commercials have too many pink elephants. At this point, one of the biggest remaining selling points to recruits and coaches are the fans and our enthusiasm for this program. Take away the most outward sign of that and you risk further removing this programs place amongst the special programs in the nation. That's not going to help things one bit. In the never ending arms race that is college athletics, why give up one of our unique advantages? Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
If this was the Price is Right my guess would be 1 person. Quote Link to comment
