knapplc
I can wear black that night, but traditionally we have trouble with these things. Not everyone has access to the social media and they just wear their red like always. 1 Quote Link to comment

GSG
Just now, knapplc said: Did someone step on your lawn? When was the last time they tried this? I remember they did it for the 2013 UCLA game, which I was in attendance for but I don't really remember if it turned out "well" or not Quote Link to comment

I'm more traditional (aka fuddy duddy, GOML guy) about the b-out and the alternate uniforms. But I'm not going to be at this game, so don't need to convince me - and good luck on the b-out. Roll Skers
I was going to wear black anyways! Quote Link to comment
Redux
Traditions have to start sonewhere, will never understand why people get ruffled feathers over trying to start new things. If we successfully black out most the stadium AND beat a highly rated Wisconsin, that could be the start of something special. 2 Quote Link to comment

I hear what you're saying, but The Sea of Red is already a tradition. 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Would be cool and get the players excited to see this as support. Recruits would also take note. Not sure why people get upset about this. 4 Quote Link to comment

broganreynik
It made sense vs. UCLA, since the team was also wearing black. When wearing throwbacks to honor the '97 team, it seems a bit misplaced. I think it would make more sense to have it vs. OSU. They're primary color is also red, so if that's the reason, it would still work. Quote Link to comment

I have never understood why they don't do this once in awhile. I know other schools do it. Not once has Nebraska tried something like this. Closest I remember is a b******* sometime, don't remember when, they put black "terrible towels" on seats. Quote Link to comment
Warrior
I'm all for tradition, but it's good to shake up the fan base too! Quote Link to comment
