They get a bye week while the conference champ game players have 1 more game with injuries. They could be pull the best teams from a losers bracket of the conference championship games. ADS
Jimbo to A&M Taggart stays at Oregon (thanks to uncle Phil and that Nike money) Sumlin to FSU That seems to be the scenario being thrown around. 1 Link to comment

Would make more sense than him going to UT. Link to comment
InOmaha
A&M and FSU coach swapping? Would they have to do all the buyout stuff or could they just call it even. Link to comment

InOmaha
Ah, so A&M would have to pay to get rid of Sumlin, then pay to cover Fisher's losses at FSU. A&M must have some money to toss around. Then again, NU is still writing hefty checks to coaches that don't work here anymore. Edited December 1, 2017 by InOmaha Link to comment

A&M must have some money to toss around. Quote According to Sumlin’s 2013 contract extension, he’s entitled to a $10.4 million buyout, which he gets in full, no matter if he jumps to another job immediately. Another side to all this is how A&M funds its athletic department. In 2016, it brought in $194,388,450, the most of any college football program in the country. Of that, $47 million came from ticket sales, $75 million from contributions, $57 million from rights and licensing and $13 million has miscellaneous sources, but $0 came from student fees or school funds. 2 Link to comment
FrankWheeler
Fisher’s buyout is the sum of all monies remaining on the contracts of his assistant coaches not retained by the university. Quote So, for example, if Fisher leaves, and the university retains none of ten coaches each making $500,000 on one-year deals, Fisher would owe the school $5M within 30 days. Given that many assistants are employed on two- or three-year contracts, it’s likely that this buyout number could be in the $10-15M range. 1 Link to comment

Its been floated around that Oregon will pressumably go after Frost. Will he he listen or has Nebraska and Frost been done for a while. Or does he take a step back and start weighing his options again? Duck fans are saying this. I think it's already a done deal. Moos isn't going to put all of his eggs in one basket only to get screwed at the end. Link to comment
