The Duke
Good for Tanner Lee and the Cornhuskers for not quitting. A win is a win, so good for them. Tanner Lee vs Purdue: 32/50 - 431 yards, 2 TDs. 7/8 for 69 yards on the final drive. Great performance by that young man. However, this win doesn't change anything going forward for the Mike Riley coaching staff (except maybe Coach Parella) What did we learn? Edited October 29, 2017 by The Duke 8 Quote Link to comment
Roll Skers
I am both happy and disgusted after a game I hope this isn't "just enough" for HCMR JD and Stan will be really good next year Our o-line is turrible Khalil Davis is our best player on defense currently Drew Brown is a LB with a big leg! Hoppes and Bradley played really well also, props to that Bailey LB for Purdue, he can BALL! GBR 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
Purdue is a bad football team. It took a career night from our QB to beat them. 4 Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
I learned that mediocrity and incompetence looks like a last minute win against a B1G West team that isn’t likely to go bowling. 3 Quote Link to comment
brophog
I learned people give up too quickly in a one score game against one of the worst teams in the conference. Hoppes has potential on a variety of shallow to medium routes. Bradley needs a chance to get outside. Still not tackling. Being in the right spot is step one. Getting in the hole and making it a 1 yard run vs a 5 yard run is step 2. I don't care if JD catches 50 passes get him the ball where he can catch it (ie not fades). Decker is the offensive, if not team, MVP. Quote Link to comment
admo
Took an entire game to see how the Bye Week paid off 3 Quote Link to comment
Morrissey
Sure, Lee hasn't lived up to all of the hype but he's not a bad QB, it's too bad the season started with all the INTs. He played well tonight. Also, this coaching staff blows 4 Quote Link to comment
4skers89
We didn't use the bye week to improve on anything. I had hopes that they might be able to finish the season strong. That will not happen. Quote Link to comment
Redreign22
We are 14 seconds and one point better than Purdue 1 Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
We once again learned the Mark Banker prevent rush three defensive philosophy on a final drive is not the wisest choice. 4 Quote Link to comment

dspanther05
That we are marginally better than the bottom 3 teams in the West. 4 Quote Link to comment
Xmas32
I learned my Nebraska +6.5 wager somehow was in danger and I have a sly grin on my face after cashing my Nebraska +180 ticket. Michters Rye here we come! That...was not good football. Yet the game was oddly entertaining. 3 Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
I learned that winning against a terrible Purdue team can still be nerve-racking and fun. EDIT: Also we should consider stealing Purdue's DC Nick Holt Edited October 29, 2017 by RedDenver Quote Link to comment
