There's zero reason for animosity, or language like "poison" or "cancer", in referring to Mike Riley. He came here as one last adventure, gave it his absolute best, did a lot of good in restoring the image and health/respect within the program, energized recruiting, embraced the state and the fans and the university entirely, and it just hasn't worked out. If/when he's no longer our head coach, it would be nice if the collective response of husker fans was, "Thanks for the effort, Mike. No hard feelings - good luck in retirement." Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 Rodgers is entitled to his opinion. I respect that, just like for anybody else. But in my opinion, he's wrong. Mike Riley just isn't a good fit for Nebraska. But I think he'd be okay for a place like Oregon State. Aren't they looking for a new head coach? Quote Link to comment
