I think if anyone has to pay everyone should have to pay, maybe not the same amount but something. I am a big fan of the individual I guess....not even sure why I posted as I know the democratic utopia has zero to do with any of my political viewpoints minus legalization of weed and the government getting out of peoples bedrooms and not caring if people are gay etc and letting the individual make that decision. 1 Link to comment

We all pay the same amount on the first step, then the second, then the third, and so on. You pay just as much taxes on your first $10,000 as the person that only makes $10000 the entire year. 2 Link to comment

Most definitely. But the items called out in that article only account for approximately 0.0007% of our total budget. Until we make some major changes to the biggest pieces of the pie (military, healthcare, etc.) we aren't going to accomplish a whole lot in terms of balancing the budget, reducing the deficit, etc. 2 Link to comment

To hear what they are spending money on, how much money is going overseas and the purpose and how it's hidden from the public, it's infuriating. Link to comment

I just believe that we can get a heckuva lot more bang for our buck while also being under budget each year compared to whatever the hell we are doing now.
