I don't get it. Neil Young and others didn't like Joe Rogan's show so they decided to take their ball and go home. It's simple. don't listen to what you don't like. I don't. I doubt Rogan's apology is sincere.

it's not that they dislike his show as much as they dislike him spreading fake news

I can’t tell if Maher is just being opportunistic or if he is serious….

Then turn him off. Ratings go down. He loses his show.

Well I'm glad that Neil Young is now on Apple's platform, which is above reproach in the 'spreading fake news' department. Oh wait...

I honestly don't know where to go from here. We can't shut down everyone we disagree with politically. Even members of SCOTUS got caught saying incorrect info about COVID numbers in verbal arguments. Big Tech won't get it right. The people who monitor the platform content have their own bias and agenda. The media seems to have the same problem or rushes to print a story with incorrect assumptions. I guess we preface everything we write or say with... "in my opinion". Time to take a deep breath. I hope the middle two thirds of the country is still sane and rational.

Let's just be honest America, "LOL" and "WTF" are apt descriptions for both parties.

My worry is that it will never be fixed and we are stuck in a downward spiral until responsible adults outnumber the idiots that vote based on social media memes.

Yeah, when you want to stage a boycott of offending corporations, Hobby Lobby is a lot easier to give up than Apple

It means anything other than two heterosexual parents having kids living on their own is bad.

The link is a starter kit to help explain these principles to kids. Apparently this week is BLM week in some schools. Two of the guiding principles are listed below. I think there are 13 total. These two seem to overlap a bit. Some of the language makes me wonder if this is presented to imply that two heterosexual parents having kids living on their own is bad. It would be interesting to see this presented in person.

Black Families creates a space that is family friendly and free from patriarchal practices. “There are lots of different kinds of families; what makes a family is that it’s people who take care of each other. It’s important to make sure that all families feel welcome.”

Black Villages is the disruption of Western nuclear family dynamics and a return to the “collective village” that takes care of each other. “There are lots of different kinds of families; what makes a family is that it’s people who take care of each other; those people might be related, or maybe they choose to be family together and to take care of each other. Sometimes, when it’s lots of families together, it can be called a village”
