I don't get the thought of bringing in more "far-right" R's to the general election, as there are a lot of voters who are going to vote party lines, no matter what. I think it’s sort of a catch 22 situation. If the dems promote reasonable moderate repubs (if any are left) they stand a greater chance if losing elections. And if they promote the far right whackos they have to think that gives them a better shot at the polls but also has a higher risk of more nuts getting elected. The dems should probably just focus on their own candidates and policies and taming their own far left fringe. 2 Link to comment
