seaofred92
Depending on when he gets cleared to play this could ultimately lead to a red-shirt year for him which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. He can still enroll at Nebraska without technically being on the team/scholarship right? 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm not really sure what the rules are but I think it was Sean Callahan that said yesterday that he can't show up until he's cleared. I would think at this point it would probably be pretty likely that this would be a redshirt year, although that means he could still play later in the season. 2 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Frost really didn't have any update today. Said it's still a "work in progress" Quote Link to comment

Dom has been fairly quiet on Twitter, but suddenly has retweeted 8 times in the last 30 hours or so. Everybody is a little restless about this one. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Still nothing here With classes starting today, he has to be cleared by Friday otherwise he'll be heading to a JUCO Quote Link to comment
brophog
C'mon, NCAA, yes or no. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
More info: Apparently the issue comes from him taking the SAT first and then taking the ACT but his "ACT scores are not in line with where his SAT score was". So the NCAA flagged it. But supposedly they are actually waiting on the ACT organization to give a final OK on his scores. But they're not going to do anything until they get that clearance. Yeah, the first report said it was until this Friday but the other report said 10 class days which would be next Friday. Not sure which one is accurate. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Apparently neither one is accurate as this says it's one week from today 1 Quote Link to comment

For UNL, this is Monday, Aug 27. So either he hears before some grumpy NCAA employee goes home on Friday, or he's not coming here. 2 Quote Link to comment
