I honesty would not be surprised to see Frost not hand out a black shirt until results are proven on the field, and that could take some time. I wouldn’t be opposed to it either after this year.

True, but they never had a string of historically bad defensive showings to do anything different. Personally I wouldn’t let them wear those things, until I knew they were playing at a level that warrants a blackshirt. 

 

If if I were an ex blackshirt and saw a huskers d play like we have in the last x amount of years.... man. That’s like having your kid become an Iowa fan.

I'd hold off on the Blackshirts deal for now. They will get Blackshirts, but they have to prove a lot to live up to the name.

Frost is doing it the same way TO did it.  Also he seems to be the route of coach that motivates positively.....not negatively.  Which also points to the shirts before the season.
