Michigan would not have been a Q1 win (earlier in the season) if we had beat them in the tourney. Probably not true. That's what some people said on BTN, but the RPI predictor said they would be 30th, which still would have been a quad 1 win, albeit barely. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Looks like Fuller should’ve just stayed at Nebraska. At least he’d have a chance to go dancing... Quote Link to comment

And yes, the same thing happened w/ us and Michigan. Quote Link to comment

If you actually look at their resume, their best non conference wins rank like this: 1. @ Wichita State - really good road neutral site win 2. USC - they are on the bubble 3. Oregon - they won't make the tournament 4. Northwestern - they were terrible this year just a slight technicality fix. Quote Link to comment

Someone asked him what part of Michigan State's resume had them ahead of Michigan. He gave a snarky - but true - answer that they finished ahead of them in the B1G, which is one part of having a better season. Quote Link to comment

When comparing two teams in the same conference, I would think that would be one way to determine who's had the better year. Quote Link to comment
