ADS
These guys also had about a month off in between Iowa and the start of winter conditioning. I would venture to say that a few showed up out of shape and unaware of the kind of workout they would be put through. Quote Link to comment
307husker
Performance athletics isn't always healthy and rhabdo is a tricky thing. Unfortunately, there isn't always a clear line between working hard and working too hard, especially in a group environment with highly competitive and "invincible" college age athletes. The pitchforks and feathers need to be put away IMO, Duval, Frost and Co. hopefully learn a bit from this and are better for it in the future. 3 Quote Link to comment
Crazyhole
And this is after duval scaled back the workouts by 20% . 3 Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Let's just can em all and start over AGAIN. These kids need to get tougher on the field, as we've seen the last 10 years. ENOUGH PATTY CAKE. I'm not saying rhabdo is okay, but they were doing a simple 32 minute lift session. Perhaps they haven't been working hard enough prior? 3 Quote Link to comment

I just hope they take this as seriously as they should. Not only is this a bad look, it could be indicative of bad programming or bad supervision 2 Quote Link to comment

Period. 4 Quote Link to comment

Being hooked up to IV's for a couple of days, or having your players hooked up to IV's isn't something that a person brushes off without due consideration. 1 Quote Link to comment

Hopefully they can get back and not miss a beat So the rumors were true... BIG ERN: Posted Friday at 02:43 PM Not saying there is any truth to this, but some Iowans got news that it was possibly Rhabdomyolysis. They could possibly just be saying that since their strength coach was in hot water when that all happened years back. 1 Quote Link to comment

So it was a workout that he had scaled down 20% and his UCF guys were doing the regular one with ease. Don't you see the real problem here? 14 Quote Link to comment

UCF players raved about how hard they were pushed and how great a job the strength team did when they needed to scaled things back. 2 Quote Link to comment
