On Russian state TV, Putin has already won the summit with Trump

Quote

Trump has relayed low expectations for the summit: “I think we go into that meeting not looking for so much.” But that’s not the case for the Kremlin. The state media reveals that Putin’s Russia expects everything, in exchange for nothing. Based on Trump’s statements, they predict the impending recognition of the Russian occupation of Crimea and “the creeping removal of sanctions.” They also believe that Trump will withdraw his stated objections to the Nord-Stream 2 gas pipeline to Germany.

Officially, Russia admits nothing about interfering in the 2016 U.S. elections, but Kremlin-controlled state media is not as reserved in its messages designed for internal consumption. Russian state TV hosts brazenly assert, “Trump is ours,” and joke that the U.S. lawmakers traveled to Russia “to make deals with our hackers, so they can rig the midterms in favor of Trump’s team.” They gleefully anticipate that Putin will run circles around “political neophyte” Trump, “educating” him about world events from the Russian perspective.

This is unfortunate. I don't know what to call this, but I can assure you it is not called winning.

Montenegro...Putins next target?

oh yeah...it probably is.   looked it up on wikipedia and it is almost certainly on the agenda for putin.  from the wiki link

In October 2016, for the day of the parliamentary election, a coup d'état was prepared by a group of persons that included leaders of the Montenegrin opposition, Serbian nationals and Russian agents; the coup was prevented.[31] In 2017, fourteen people, including two Russian nationals and two Montenegrin opposition leaders, Andrija Mandić and Milan Knežević, were indicted for their alleged roles in the coup attempt on charges such as "preparing a conspiracy against the constitutional order and the security of Montenegro" and an "attempted terrorist act."[32]

In June 2017, Montenegro formally became a member of NATO, an eventuality that had been supported and opposed by approximately same share of the country′s population[33] and had triggered a promise of retaliatory actions on the part of Russia′s government.[34][35][36]

WH staff furious wt Trump over his press conference.  Kelly tells Congressional leaders to speak out against the

words Trump used and then pushes Trump to correct his verbiage.

As he flew home from Helsinki on Air Force One following his disastrous press conference with Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump reacted with surprise at the horror and outrage that was being expressed by much of the American political world. By the time he landed, the surprise had turned to anger. “He was enraged there was a lack of people out there defending him,” one Republican close to the White House told me. The mood among West Wing advisers was downright funereal. “This was the nightmare scenario,” another Republican in frequent contact with the administration said.

While National Security Adviser John Bolton, according to a source, thought Trump’s remarks were ill-advised, he believed that walking them back would only add fuel to the outrage pyre and make the president look weak. But Chief of Staff John Kelly was irate. According to a source, he told Trump it would make things worse for him with Robert Mueller. He also exerted pressure to try to get the president to walk back his remarks. According to three sources familiar with the situation, Kelly called around to Republicans on Capitol Hill and gave them the go-ahead to speak out against Trump. (The White House did not respond to a request for comment.) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan held televised press conferences to assert that Russia did meddle in the election.

I've seen some comments from conservative Trumpers asking...why all the outrage when everyone wants good relations with other countries.

Here are  the top two responses that come to mind:

1) We're you outraged when a football player took a knee during a football game to protest racial profiling by police?  Because the President just disrespected our entire intelligence community and accepted the word of a KGB agent on the world's biggest stage. (extra points for pointing out that "good relations with other countries" include the longtime NATO allies Trump openly trolled, creating the exact kind of division Vladimir Putin craves.)

2) Imagine Obama doing the exact same thing.
