There were a lot of pro Putin fan boy posts in this very thread when Putin was making Trump look like a putz. It didn't create any uproar.

Really?  I remember people talking about how he makes Trump look like an idiot.  But, I don't remember people supporting him or rooting for him or liking how he rules his country.

I don't remember it that way.  I pretty much think posters here disliked both and could see how much Trump admired Putin.

I think most posters at that time were posting in shock and horror watching our useful idiot president cozying up to a foreign dictator, discredit our own intelligence community on that dictators behalf, granting said dictator the very weakening of treaties and alliances he needed, and just regularly kiss his a**. WTF????  These people actually voted against having our state department help with the investigation into war crimes.
