I imagine something just like it for this. Link to comment

TGHusker
Another one bites the dust: Funny how that happens. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/vladimir-putin-s-top-tank-commander-dies-suddenly-hours-after-russian-leader-cancels-meeting-to-discuss-war-in-ukraine/ar-AA15KNMk?ocid=entnewsntp&cvid=130db48d7c764a9daf1f8777233ff238 Quote Vladimir Putin’s top tank commander died suddenly over the weekend less than 24 hours after the Russian leader canceled a meeting to discuss weapon production for the war in Ukraine, RadarOnline.com has learned. Alexei Maslov, the 69-year-old former Russian army commander and tank chief, passed away suddenly on Sunday in a Moscow military hospital. Maslov and Putin were set to meet hours earlier at the former general’s machine-building plant in Nizhny Tagil before Putin canceled the meeting unexpectedly and "at the last minute." According to Daily Star, Maslov was criticized by both Putin and the Kremlin before his death for failing to produce enough tanks for Russian troops to use in Ukraine. The outlet also reported that “nothing had been heard about Maslov's health problems” leading up to his sudden death, and Russia’s Federal Security Service has since formed an “investigative group” to investigate what happened. In honor of all Russian leaders below Putin's rank, I give you this theme song: 1 Link to comment
Moiraine
At the Russian airfield 600km from the Ukrainian border where Ukrainian's have had 2 successful attacks, destroying bombers and killing pilots, the Russians apparently got antsy and last night they accidentally shot down one of their own fighters headed to Ukraine as it flew overhead. They also accidentally shot down several of their own missiles from locations inside of Belarus and Crimea. 2 Link to comment

Losing Turkey but gaining Sweden, Finland, Georgia and Ukraine would be an improvement to NATO. 3 1 Link to comment

They're a 70 year member and they control access to the Black Sea. Istanbul isn't letting Russian warships into the Black Sea, that's huge for Ukraine right now. Turkey is Georgia’s only NATO border. Think what a replay of the 2008 Russia Georgia War would be like with Turkey a Russian ally. We were strong allies with Turkey just 10 years ago. The first minute is Obama spelling it out. They buy arms from Russia, they doubled their Russian oil imports last year to make up for EU sanctions, they've been a thorn in adding additional NATO members as well, and their human rights are sus. 1 Link to comment

Imagine having a president with a dictatorial bent who was idiotic enough to throw his lot in with Putin and want to leave NATO..... oh wait. 3 Link to comment

I forgot about the 2016 coup d etat and the civil rights abuses. A lot of extrajudicial killings during and after that coup. They hate us because we tried to overthrow Erdogan. Doesn’t matter if we did or not, they all think we did. I forgot how badly Obama handled the chem weapons leading up to the coup. Obama took a lot of Ls, didn't seem too important at the time. Turkey was a d!(k about using their NATO airbase during the Gulf War. They vote against us in the NATO and the UN all the time. They suck but we've known that for 70 years. Regardless, Turkey withdrawing from NATO makes NATO weaker, makes us weaker. It took 10 years to fug things up, we need to stay patient and rebuild the alliance. Turkey still has interest in buy fight jets from us. Link to comment
