I though KW liked him a lot and he had some nickname like Cherry for his red hair or something. That's right he was an early enrollee then dipped pretty quickly. So I guess he did make it to campus lol Quote Link to comment

Little surprised at Smothers, didn't they sign 2 QBs as it is? I guess maybe they'd drop the lower rated one. But I'm really glad we got all of them locked down, that's really the core of this class IMO. Quote Link to comment

Word is they were also looking at Smothers for that second spot. Quote Link to comment

So, did some of these guys stop announcing their new offers after committing to Nebraska and that's why they don't show up in the services? Seems like our top guys probably have better offers than what it appears. 1 Quote Link to comment

Ratings are subjective and people have unconscious biases. If a kid commits early, I'm not surprised if they don't climb much in the rankings (if they're not reporting new offers). 2 Quote Link to comment

Maybe that is one of the reasons why Michigan rarely gets a top 5 class. They have had a number of freshman bow out due to academics as well. One was a 5 star kid that ended up in prep school. Those would have been 3 huge hits if they would have been able to get them.... Great job by the staff to hang on to those 3. Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
2 hours ago, Mavric said: Nebraska had 10 4* commits. The rest of the B10 West had 14 combined... We are getting higher end players but we did fill in a lot of spots with really low rated players (mostly jucos) where they had stronger 3* I feel the gap was wider this year for us but didn't translate in the ratings. 3 Quote Link to comment
