I have always liked spicy foods. But, a few weeks ago, I ate at Hooters and had some really spicy wings and I felt sick for two days. That never used to happen. 4 minutes ago, NUinID said: To watch some people slice up and eat a tomato or worse yet, eat it like an apple makes me want to gag. Just watching someone eat one makes you sick? Wow...that's sensitive. Quote Link to comment

teachercd
I think the key to a good burger is the bun. Big doughy buns (insert joke here) ruin a great burger. Quote Link to comment
Xmas32
I despise the concept of crowdfunding except when it comes to natural disasters and catastrophic unplanned illness, etc. I feel terrible that your Lab is sick or your Corgi needs ACL surgery, guess what? Work extra and/or buy pet insurance. Pets aren't robots, they get sick/hurt sometimes which requires money. Don't even get me started on the concept of crowdfunding education or weddings. Anything above 100,000 on the Scoville scale tastes like nothing but scorched earth. I don’t mind extremely spicy food as long as it has flavor to go along with the heat. But hot just for some macho reason of being hot, no thanks. Some really hot green chili can be good but most places hottest buffalo wings are just painful. If it hurts and you can’t enjoy the taste, what’s the purpose? Quote Link to comment

This invalidates all subsequent and prior claims of any kind. Dissing GoT is bad on it’s own but the two combined..... 4 Quote Link to comment
Making Chimichangas
@huKSer and @Comfortably Numb, bacon is like 1/3 meat, 1/3 gristle, and 1/3 fat. It's greasy, it shrinks too much when cooked, and tastes like what I imagine fried shoe leather tastes like. Quote Link to comment

Making Chimichangas
Guacamole is hands down the most disgusting, vile, abomination to ever be called "food." To quote Peter Griffin: Guacamole, it's the devil's vomit. Quote Link to comment

That might be actual shoe leather you've been cooking up then cause bacon tastes amazing when you make it up right! Quote Link to comment

Okay anything you say tastes good but need to add the qualifier: "...if you cook it right..." to almost by default cannot be good. Oh have you tried these monkey brains? They're delicious if they're cooked right. Quote Link to comment

In fact there are no two other things as amazing together as bacon and guacamole....while watching GoT. 2 Quote Link to comment
