2018-2019 Season Notes

To review, we are currently sitting in the #9 spot

We have beaten the teams that are currently #8, #13 and #14

We have lost to the teams that are currently #1, #3, #5, #6 and #12.

So the results say we are pretty much right where we should be.  Lower-middle of the conference.

NW beats a sliding Indiana squad so NW, IU and NU at 3-5 right now in conference play.

Big big home stand for Nebraska.  Ohio St with a similar disappointing start to conference play as Nebraska then a Wisconsin team that could very easily be 6-3 in conference play heading into Lincoln.

As if it wasn’t tough enough to endure three straight defeats, Nebraska also lost its second-leading scorer, 6-9 senior forward Isaac Copeland, to a torn ACL during Saturday’s home loss to Ohio State. Tough way for the young man’s career to end. I believe from seeing it first hand that Isaiah Roby is able to pick up a lot of that slack in the frontcourt. But he’s gotta want it.
