I thought Schaefer said not to expect a decision until December?

I picked UCLA for the commitment based on the timing but it's a 51%-49% type decision.

The Oct 31st announcement date was set in July.

Well on page one, Schaefer is quoted in September saying it would be December.  Who am I supposed to believe?

So if Darien Chase visited us right before announcing his commitment date and we feel good about his decision, what does everyone think about Wright’s visit to UCLA right before announcing his commitment date?

I go along with this.  Additionally. UCLA always seems to beat us out for key recruits.  Having Chip there certainly cements my leaning that he goes to UCLA.  It will be a miss with the family connection/Dad being a Husker.  Thankfully, we seem to be winning the prediction contest.  Hope it pans out.

I'll be curious who will be the better college player ... his Dad was a good player in my memory.

Toby was a great player.  Take it from Eric Stokes

His attitude, his mindset, and just an explosive, knockout-type hitter, and he was probably one of the most fearless guys. I’ve been in scouting, I’ve played, and I’ve seen guys: there’s always that moment of truth… and some guys will turn it down. And I can honestly say that… this guy? I never saw him turn it down one time, not one time. And there’s probably a handful of guys, but as far as being at Nebraska he was one guy that I never saw turn it down no matter what the circumstances were.
