Not all star players are equal. Adam Taylor looked like he was 25 when he was in high school - guys like that have possibly already peaked physically which doesn't leave much room for improvement. The next guy might be a mid 3 star that hasn't shaved and hasn't filled into his frame - 3 years from now that player explodes and looks like great development by the coaching staff. Taylor never regained his full athleticism after he broke his foot. Plus the knee injury in high school didn't help. Quote Link to comment

Plus the knee injury in high school didn't help. agree 100% and it sucks for Taylor as well as NU - because he could have been pretty darn good. My main point is that the rating system favors kids that mature early and in many cases these are the same kids that don't feel the need to work as hard as others. Ameer is a perfect case in point for somebody that was told no and decided to prove all wrong. Quote Link to comment
