ebohnart
I’m just wondering if they’re going to call the game entirely. Quote Link to comment

If I remember, last year some game scheduled for 11 resumed 6-8 hours later We're not gonna resume play 4 in the morning. You cancel it now and negotiate an opportunity to play tomorrow even though tomorrow doesn't look all that much better. Quote Link to comment

On the other hand, I'd love to think the team would be so pissed at waiting another week they just come out and brutalize the buffs... 2 Quote Link to comment

AM might just get that freak knee injury that we can't afford. They need to call this. If I'm Frost, live to fight another day. I don't really want them to play in the rain either. It's a recipe for an upset or like you say, injuries. Quote Link to comment

He doesn't look bad, he's hitting some passes better than O'Korne but their defense is not as good as they hoped and they have zero run game. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
10/11 just tweeted that the lightning delay reset again. Looks like we'll have to make due with schadenfreude via Michigan and Texas, and hope Frost has these men in fightin' form for Colorado...who actually didn't look half bad vs. CSU this week. 1 Quote Link to comment

You can't keep everyone there that late. If it were an 11 AM game, it would be a different story. Quote Link to comment

My guess is we try and agree to play tomorrow at say 1 or 2 and if it doesn't work it will be cancelled. This stinks. Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
On the bright side, it will be another week for Bunch to get reps as #2 without being called upon for duty yet. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
I probably spent $1000 for tickets, 2 hotel rooms, and a rental car to drive 8 hours with my son to not see a game. This really sucks...and even if the play the game after 11 as kids are not going to stay up that late. They should have said screw national coverage and move the game up. At this point I am hoping they call it and reschedule for early tomorrow. Quote Link to comment

The announcers couldn't even seen the field. Referees couldn't see from sideline to sideline. And yet they still played. Rain shmain, get out there and play! Some fields drain great but after getting drilled with so much water it's dangerous to even play. Referees will even recommend to the coaches that player safety is at a major risk. This happened during the Florida-Idaho game they ended up calling it. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
I think i'm going to go drink with the neighbor now. The wife's giving me grief about "oh yeah we couldn't go out, the game isn't even on right now, they aren't playing yet". I'm now up that crick and I may be in the doghouse. Quote Link to comment

I wanted Bunch to play the entire 2nd half tonight. I was planning on a 50 point lead at the half. Quote Link to comment
