suh_fan93
I like our running game. I really hope Martinez's injury isn't serious. Luke Gifford and Mo Barry played lights out. I did not like the clock management at the end of the game. Tough loss. Still proud of this team. 2 Quote Link to comment
Husker66
I liked what I saw first half. Second not so much. don't like leaving time on the clock in that situation but hey...Going to take time. I like us in 2-3 recruiting classes... 1 Quote Link to comment
Decked
WR core needs to catch balls for the first 30 mins of practice. Dropped first by Spielman, pitch, and a dropped TD by Stanley any WR at a D1 level should make. Secondary is still pretty bad outside of Neal. Bell is meh. Base D floored me. Shenault was eating our lunch off of that. Should have pounded with Oz out of the 2nd half. Bad personnel calls by keeping Washington and Bell in the game on those short plays. Headed in the right direction. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Apparently we're a 1st half team now 1 Quote Link to comment
Jason Sitoke
I learned that we have a different personality as a team. And I re-learned that committing three turnovers and forcing none means you’ll probably lose Quote Link to comment
gossamorharpy
Boneheaded plays by players at innoportune times are hard to overcome. 2 dropped TDs from our two top receivers. Turnovers, and perhaps a play by a safety at the end that cost this team dearly and should cost him playing time next week. There’s simply zero excuse for that move, the ball was 10 yards overthrown and turned a 4th and long to a 1st. ive also reconfirmed that people on this board will never be content. All you throwing a fit need to find a new interest outside of husker football. Already questioning this staff that’s working with a team of players from a prior coach. Relax- it’s 18-22 year olds playing football for Christ sake. 7 2 Quote Link to comment
Micheal
I learned that the secondary still is having trouble but hope that improves. 1 Quote Link to comment
louisianared
Much better coached than last year. Program has bright days ahead. Just going to need the rebuilding process to have time to work. 3 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post PasstheDamnBallGuy
CU didnt win because of clock management. They lost because a few key mistakes from a team playing their first game. We looked light years ahead of last year imo and I really hope Martinez is OK because he looked like an absolute stud. I learned that some people will melt down no matter how we lose. We just outgained them on the ground 329 to 44. We looked like the better team but made first week mistakes. I like the direction of this team. 7 1 7 Quote Link to comment
4skers89
Overusing the QB draw is not good but probably indicates we don't have good enough alternate weapons. Quote Link to comment
SECHusker
I'm not too upset with the offense, and believe the offense will take a step forward under Bunch. But we had the same damn issue, Lamar I'm looking at you, we had last year. Our secondary consistently struggles. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pasadena Husker
1. Colorado is a better team 2. Colorado has better in-game coaches 3. i made shrewd bet by taking the under for Nebraska wins this year. 4. the Scott Frost era started with a THUD! 1 Quote Link to comment
commando
i learned we have a lot of fire in this team. it didn't work this week but i like the effort even if the result wasn't what i hoped for. 2 Quote Link to comment
Big Red 40
If Martinez is out for any length of time the season is pretty much over . Stupid mistakes turnovers and dropped passes allowed the the lesser team to win . Over all the team still looks much better than last year . I hope they can clean up the stupid stuff and win some games . Quote Link to comment

Frost was the second coming of Christ but now he's the antiChrist for losing a fun (albeit frustrating) game to watch Quote Link to comment
