17 years ago w/ Husker Tunnel Walk.

I put the Husker Tunnel walk, honoring the victims and emergency responders on status changes, for the obvious. But thought it would be something that should go here in the Politics section (Below).

 

Hard to believe 17 years has passed since this sad day occurred.

Such a tragic day, the FD here just opened up a new 9/11 memorial garden and they had the ceremony for it today. It's pretty cool and they got one of the beams from ground zero at the new memorial garden. Pretty sobering to stand near it and realize all the sacrifices and tragedy it was a part of.

Guess its just forgettable history that has no value to the masses. Back to the sports boards.

What?

 

For one thing, a fraction of the people who post on Huskerboard post in Politics & Religion. You could have posted it on the Husker football forum if what you were worried about was getting replies.

But if you did think it belonged here, you could have given it a clearer title or just created a general 9/11 topic and posted the Husker thing. We've had 17 9/11 anniversaries now. Not everyone wants to talk about it or even think about it every year.

I've been obsessing this year and thought of replying a couple times but decided not to.
