The Cornfather
Frost is a competitor, he wants to win and compete NOW but I think he needs to face the fact that we are just and absolutely awful team right now and that he needs to accept that this IS a rebuilding year. The entire foundation is rotten and it's built on top of a swamp to boot and the only way were going to get back to the glory days of old is to tear down this S*** show and start over from scratch... Luckily I think Frost is just the guy to do that and we all just have to have patience and persevere. 1 Quote Link to comment

If not for our true freshman QB getting hurt we most likely win against Colorado and Troy. That gets us to half of our win total. This is a really good Michigan team. 4 1 Quote Link to comment
macroboy
It's hard to say. At the very least this is a continuation of the team from last year. I can't come up with an argument as to why this team isn't worse. The QB depth situation maybe? Quote Link to comment

So I guess it's fair to take a flat tire off a car and before putting on the new one, ask "wasn't my car faster 10 min. ago? 1 Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
I can’t say we were better last year but we haven’t improved on one facet this year. Quote Link to comment

I think we have a better scheme. We are getting some sacks. Our QB doesn't throw TDs for the other team every game. There are some improvements. 2 Quote Link to comment

Saunders
Ask me after Thanksgiving. The season is far from over, and this team has a lot to learn. Look at PSU in 2016. Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
So far, I have seen nothing to convince me that this team is better than last year. But if you think about it, why should it be? We were and remain to be far more than tougher weight room workouts, more energy, and a new scheme, from being competitive. Frost has very few of the players he recruited on the field. Quote Link to comment

He literally said it may get worse before it gets better before the season. To me that was him subtlety saying this team sucks and he knows it. Three years of piss poor coaching and recruiting does not go away over night. Stop being so level headed you! 1 Quote Link to comment
Red_Payne
To early to tell... Team regressed throughout the season heavily last year. Will the same occur this year? IDK, it's possible; but there is also a chance we improve throughout the season and become a better team than last year. Only time will tell. Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
I'd say they look like they did at the end of last season, when they got shredded by a Minnesota offense that looked like it couldn't move the ball against a grade school team in pretty much every single other game they played. Point being, our only hope is that removing that element will get us back to, at least, qualifying for bowl games. Quote Link to comment
Ric Flair
I'm concerned that we seem to be getting worse as this season progresses. I saw encouraging signs against Colorado, but those seem to be diminishing week to week. I get that Martinez has been hurt and Michigan is better than Colorado, but am still noticing a disturbing trend. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJax
No. There was a stat in the game: 38 true freshman, 50 new players o. The roster total. This is a process. We are also a game behind.......it will get better. Keep the faith! Quote Link to comment
