You’re answering you’re own question.  Ezekiel Elliot couldn’t have flown in yesterday and done anything with that o-line effort.

No.  I think there were 15 total carries yesterday by our 1st-3rd string running backs that averaged across the board  0.6 ypc. They rode Mazzour in the second half because they gave up. Miles jones?  I don’t know where he is nor do I care, as he hasn’t cracked the 4 deep.

He did not practice today and Sean Callahan from HuskerOnline said he expects him to practice tomorrow.

Lets hope Callahan is right that he will practice tomorrow. Hes been wrong on a number of things before.

I wonder if it makes sense to just redshirt Washington now. 

 

If he is frustrated with this O-line and we dont think he can get the space he needs, let him sit and relax and learn and give him better option next year?

 

Or if that isnt what he wants, tell him to toughen up and keep trucking. 

 

Things will get better, he just needs to hold on.
