Hello Huskers,

Just stopping by to see who is all making the journey to Madison next weekend! I'll be driving down from Minneapolis to catch the game with my family: it will be my first time getting down to Camp Randall this year. I figured this night game will be a great atmosphere, and I know NU will bring a loyal contingent regardless of the growing pains of your team.

Make no mistake: No sane Badger fan will be sleeping on this game against Nebraska, especially after we got caught looking past the god damn Mormons.

Looking forward to a fun-filled football weekend in Madison, and I hope to run into many of you on State Street Friday/Saturday night!

I'll be there.

I'll also be there to wipe away Badger tears after Nebraska completely destroys your playoff hopes.

GBR. NEVER SURRENDER!

Their playoff hopes were wiped out two weeks ago.   :D

Agreed, but a loss to an 0-4 team completely leaves any hope. I’m actually of the belief that an undeafeated rest of the season including beating tOSU in B1G Championship would give them a 50/50 shot.

I think BYU already did that but don’t let that stop ya- you’re on a roll kid!

See above tweet.

BYU probably did end their hopes though.

Thanks you guys.  I parked on the street in Ann Arbor several years back when the Huskers played Michigan and like most college towns I was planning on if anything doing this in Madison as well.

Badger fan here and native Madisonian, but I haven't lived there for a long time and don't go to many games. I did grow up in the neighborhood surrounding CR, though, and can tell you that the on-street parking will fill up really early. I assume this is still the case, but there are people who are selling parking on their lawns, and there are also a few nearby churches who sell parking in their lots, too - the last time we visited, we parked at Blessed Sacrament, and had less than a 10 minute walk. There is a big lot at Edgewood college, which you also pay for, and is close to 10 minutes walking, too. Then you have ramps downtown, which can be anywhere from 15-30+ minute walks. Finally, there is Lot 60, which is a big first-come, first-served university lot that has a shuttle.

I don't know if that helps or not, but that's what I know. If you've been before, you know that UW has multiple bars/beer gardens set up as the preferred pre-game festivities as opposed to tailgating.

Yeah I always figure getting there early for any neighborhood parking is wise.  Thanks for the great info.:thumbs

What is the over/under for number of passing attempts in the game by Wisconsin? It's gotta be single digits.

I realize you were more or less making a pointed joke but I do think they've struggled to have that over the top threat without their star wideout.
