Popular Post Hayseed
Devine Ozigbo 17 carries for 170 yards Doesn't get much better than that! He ran like a madman , inside and outside, and I think he deserves recognition for a great effort. 6 2 2 Quote Link to comment
Dbqgolfer
I agree, one of the bright spots today. Quote Link to comment

Army_Allen
Don't expect Mav to give props. It was a fluke I'm sure. 2 3 1 Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
I'll eat my crow. Today he was great. I think he plays hard. Right now that is all that matters. Quote Link to comment

But I would expect some props for the offensive Line. I think about 90% of his yards were before contact. 1 Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Just now, Mavric said: Wasn't a fluke. Good for Devine. But I would expect some props for the offensive Line. Zig hits that gap between the D end and Olineman really hard though and gets 5 minimum everytime we run that dive read look it seemed like. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Devine has been the best back in the program for awhile. I'm glad Frost has figured it out too. (Except for the 2 games Bryant went off) 6 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
Yes Ozigbo and Bootle deserve the game balls today. Both had really strong games! 2 Quote Link to comment

Bootle was awesome. He made a couple of young guy mistakes but the dude scraps. 2 years from now he will be an anchor for our D unit and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a high draft pick after a few years with this staff. He has the tools. 1 Quote Link to comment

I dont want to sound like I'm bagging on Bell, but I have no clue why he was considered the first choice in a 1st string tie. Ozigbo does everything that Bell does but better. Washington is a different style of back so he probably should be a solid #2 but I honestly cant see why we would ever go with Bell over Zig. 3 Quote Link to comment
DefenderAO
He put in work. After Troy I was saying he was 3rd in line. I'm very proud of how he has fought. Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
Go back and read the Scott Frost Running Back room thread.....Ozigbo is slow short yardage back. Riley wasted this kid on bench. I’m glad he’s doing well. He’s a grinder. Quote Link to comment
GBRFAN
If SF was getting holes created by the Oline - then a guy like Bell/Washington is perfect for the Offense. With the Oline that we have OZ looks like the best path for now. Great effort and several others need to follow his lead. Quote Link to comment
